It is definitely a useful garden tool. I was sceptical before purchasing it, wondering whether it would be strong enough for the job. In the event it is well made and robust. The fact that it has three tines is good - those with four or even five might be a step too far. The diameter of the tines means that you take a good-sized plug of earth out each time. The problem in use is that of the consistency of the soil your lawn is growing in. If it is too dry the tool tends to clog requiring tedious manual clearing. If the lawn is too wet you run the risk of making drainage worse by compacting the soil as you walk across the surface using the tool - and the prongs clog as well.

Great product, actually works and pushes the cores through which was easy and with the tray it works well. Also comes with a fork/prodded should anything get stuck

Good but clay does tend to get clogged in the prongs!!

I love this! I don’t love the manual labour, but by god it’s made well, it does the job brilliantly. If I had to moan about anything it would be the collector, I was getting bored walking back and forth to my pile. Next purchase a wheel barrow, but this tool is brilliant and has helped my lawn. You would have to use it as a hammer to break it! Yep 10/10. Now if only they made a motorised one, that would be 11/10
