I’ve been skateboarding for years, and finding the right helmet has always been a challenge. Even with the padding, it would shift around and felt unstable, especially when I shook my head. I have a 22.5-inch head circumference, so I decided to exchange it for a Small/Medium, and the difference was night and day. This helmet is fantastic. It fits really snug and the only helmet I’ve found to fit my large head. Today I took my first full hit to it and smashed the back of it against the ground. My head hit the pavement hard, but the helmet cushioned the blow so well! I was back up and skating again in no time at all. No dizziness from the impact in the moment and I’m now two hours past the occurrence with really minimal stiffness.

My head is around 22 in. It fits me perfect with the larger insert that came with it. That is super convenient! Luckily I haven't tried it out by banging my head yet, but I feel secure and confident that this will keep me safe. I love that this item is super lightweight too

My son loves it! It looks like it might be from the 80's, but it works well & is stylish.

Good fit

Just bought these for our 3 and 5 year old. we did head measurements before buying and it said XS would be the fitting size. my 3yr old measured at 20.5" and my 5yr old measured at 20". both my 3 and 5 year old are swimming in this helmet, even with the thicker pieces in it. I tried it on myself and with the thicker pieces already in it and it was tight, but it fit my 22" head. there's no returning them because the kids are so excited about them, but hopefully we can find a way to get a snug fit. it just won't work to have it so floppy on their heads.outside of our bad experience with sizing though, these are great helmets! they cover all the important spots, have good ventilation, you can tell it'll still be warm in winter weather... ultimately, this is an amazing helmet and I can't wait for my kids to grow into them!
