Bought these to replace the TERRIBLE plastic ones I’ve seen the kiddos repeatedly break over the summer at the beach.. the cheap plastic ones are terrible. Like watching them try to dig wet sand with a plastic spoon… These ones are next level. Like real, functional digging tools that a gardener could use… except beautifully rounded to ensure they don’t pose a danger to the kids using them. I’m genuinely impressed by the quality. Marginally concerned that the screw holding them in place may get loose over time, but realistically… they’re going to fare far better than the plastic kind. Also should mention just how stinkin’ adorable they are! They come with a sweet little carrying bag that’s just adorable.

My toddler likes playing with sand using these shovels, she also uses it to help me with gardening. The metal and wooden handles are sturdy. Overall, good quality
