This book is just lovely. The illustrations are beautiful and very informative. Really looking forward to reading this over this coming winter and create ART.

Very in-depth and organized with loads of detailed how-to's, tips, and even reference photos. A beautifully built book by an amazing artist. A lot of artist books are made to show off artist's own work, but this artist is truly passionate about authentically teaching others. I am so excited to work on illustrating insects.

It is impossible to look through this book and not feel the passion of the artist. She helped me see what can often be the invisible side of nature through a new lens. I had the pleasure of briefly meeting the author. It is no small feat to write a book and her commitment to share her art with us is a gift.

I love this book; it's very thorough and detailed, but Thalden conveys such an enthusiasm for the subject, you can't wait to start! I'm not a professional artist, easily overwhelmed, but I can follow these lessons -- and, more -- I really want to!

Really nice paperback book with lots of photos and technical information. What I didn’t like was it was sent in a paper envelope with nothing to protect the edges which of course got mangled. If I’m paying for a new book, I’d like to receive it in nice condition. Not going to go through the hassle of returning and trying again, but it is disappointing. Even with trying to reduce packaging waste Amazon, you need to do better on large books.

This books rocks! It is so incredibly in-depth, practical, and inviting. I've never come across a book that covers this topic so thoroughly. Zebith Thalden has created something very special for us, and for the world.

I love this book! The high quality shows that the author took a lot of time and effort to create something memorable and instructive. Highly recommend for all artists and those who love where nature and art meet. Such a great book!!
