Great for an IRIVER
The little sports case and arm bands that comes with the IRiver are a pain. This is great. The arm band is comfortable and easy to use with one hand. The case is very solid and protects the IRiver. Only draw-backs: you have to take the IRiver out of the case to plug in the USB cable (didn't have to in the original one), the clip has come undone (but not during exercise), and the arm band is almost too big for my arm (probably won't work at all for children). Other than that...perfect.

A Must Have for the iRiver
I bought this arm band after trying to use the one that came with my iRiver, and it is soo much better. I wear the armband at it's smallest and I'm about a size 8, so it would be big on someone smaller. Although a lot of time I just use the clip on the case without the armband. It's a must have if you're active at all with your iRiver.

Just be aware...
I bought an iAudio U2, and Amazon recommended this as an accessory. Although I saw it was for a different model, I thought it must be the same case. Well... it's not. This is model specific, so don't buy this unless it's specifically for the 700.Having said that, I liked the design of the case - easy access to the controls and the elastic armband looked great. Now to find one for the U2.

Great, must have for workouts!
Unlike the armband that comes with the player this one is well designed and looks that will last for a long time.

100% better then the armband it comes with
This is one ofthose items where simlpe-stupid seems to work best. The armband that the iRiver comes with is one of the most poorly designed items I have come across. The hook-and-eye closure limits the range of sizing options and is nearly impossible to secure using one hand! Makes me wonder if anyone at iRiver ever tried it out. This armband, however, is great! It is elastic enough to be comfortable when your arm is relaxed or flexed (unlike the included armband, which was made of non-stretching neoprene and can cut off circulation when your bicep is flexed) I am also a big jogger and the elastic is stiff enough that the player won't bounce around or slide down your arm and you don't need to cinch it very tightly to be secure. The case is great - it is a hard-but-rubbery type of material and instead of having a solid loop to attach it to the armband it has a belt clip (much like what you find on cell phone belt clips) I have found that i'm using the clip more frequently then I would have imagined - on the neck of my shirt, the strap to my backpack, on my back pocket, etc. Basically, it's convenient that you can pop the player off the armband and just clip it anywhere on your body. This accessory is a great solution to the cumbersome (and fairly unattractive) arm band they included with the players.

This is not the cheap armband that comes with the iRiver 7xx
This is the package that should come with the iRiver 7xx players. The MP3 holder is a thick molded plastic with a handy belt clip (not a loop). Unlike the holder that came with the iRiver, this holder leaves the buttons completely exposed for use. Much more convenient. The armband fastens with velcro which works much better than the original armband with the hook fastener.I haven't had it long enough yet to determine its durability, but it seems much better made than the original equipment.

iRiver Flash MP3 Players
I hear people bragging about owning Ipods all the time. When I looked into the price of a ipod; I was sticker shocked( they want this item for how much? too expensive) I think iRiver makes an item that is gentle on the wallet and has great features to boot: mp3 player, radio, voice recorder and music recorder. Now that is a bargain any day. I highly recommend the item. I have also dropped the mp3 player a few times and it takes a licking and keeps on ticking!!!!!

Unfortunately Doesn't Last
I bought a 700 series iRiver to use at the gym, which came with this Armband, at first it was great, but it didn't last, there are two clasps which don't sta attcked well, and the pocket that holds the mp3 player itself is held together with a glue that comes undone after a few weeks of daily use.
