My husband purchased this for work and while it is very sturdy and can do the job it’s much smaller than he thought and so will not get as much use out of it as he would a bigger one

I am newly bound to a wheelchair and carry this in my everyday pack. I have already found many uses for this hook. Super handy for picking up dropped stuff and when accompanied with a pulley it’s really helpful with steep ramps

For the money, it's a well constructed addition to my gear. I got it primarily for the gravity hook aspect, but the ability to function as a grapple is a nice bonus. I haven't had a chance to see how well it performs as a grapple, but I suspect for my needs, it will do alright.

Haven't had a chance to use it fully but incase of zombie apocalyptic it will come in handy

Awesome product. Mine was missing the rubber bands however. Anybody have a link to similar rubber bands?

Very well built/ I suggest tying a cord thru the swivel clasp up to one of the jaws to make a "release" function, if or when this locks onto something immovable. Works great.

I ordered this item on a whim thinking it was looking pretty cool. First one showed up with no rubber o-rings or bat tie like the description says. So I just replaced it, not a big deal.Then the second one showed up exactly the same way. So either it doesnt actually come with it and they need to update the pictures on their page, or twice now it slipped by them without the O-rings. Alot of hassle so far, but just talked to Amazon and they made it right of course

This Coologin gravity hook is well engineered with excellent construction in non-magnetic stainless steel. It performs well in retrieving objects of small diameter. The small size precludes it's use as a worthwhile grappling hook, but on the plus side it is portable and there are many uses for snagging and minor grappling applications and hanging objects. It is a delightful plaything of great potential use for the out-doors man and the do it yourself person. It makes an excellent gift for the man who has everything. It can be a formidable weapon for self protection as a Bola weapon, if ever such a need arose.

Bought this around 6 months ago and I still use it. It’s really useful when going out in the wood and it’s made out of a nice solid material. The product is kinda small but it still can get attached to a tree and stay in place.

Amazing product, worth every penny. I was excited to try because i had no other options, i dropped my brand new drill behind our shower wall. Their was no was to cut through a wall to retrieve it. The only option was from the ceiling, using a pocket mirror flash light and this hook. I used it to grab the drill handle and pull it up to me. Amazing product, my wife was super skeptical but i feel like a king. It was purchased for this exact reason and it bloody well worked.
