This is a great tool and works perfectly and is definitely a quality product. Service with this vendor was awesome. I got my product the next morning after ordering it and was able to use it straight out of the box. Even my co-workers liked this and now are planning on ordering one for themselves. I'm very happy with this product and the vendor and I give them 5 stars all the way and would most definitely buy this again.

Tough little tool. Way cheaper than the tool trucks.

At the time of purchase this was about $50. This tool is very good for that price point. If you can supply ~90psi @ 5cfm this tool will perform well. As the tool has aged it does very well for precision grinding and light polishing. eg jewelry, electrical contacts, bearing surfaces, slightly rusted metal. using the dremel ezlock cutoff wheels this tool will cut like a small high speed low torque dremel. the down side is at low rpm there is almost no torque for cutting applications, plastic is the worst offender. however when polishing or grinding a precise piece this tool is nice because it will not hog out material like a traditional die grinder or a dremel. Over all i would buy again but i would prefer to see a rebuild kit so i can replace the bearings and vanes like IR and Sioux tool offer.

Works well for grinding, good power doesn't bog done. Good quality made fast work for what I needed, would buy again!

I love AP for starters. I owned a Neiko and it lasted one year and I attempted to drill a hole using a bit you can’t drill with and it bounced off and bent the chuck. When I got the AP my 1/8” collet was too small and couldn’t actually get a 1/8” bit in the collet so I removed the one from the bent Neiko and used it. It is perfect in every way. I ordered some new tungsten bits for it. It runs smoother than the pink neiko but overall it’s the same tool. You can interchange parts and I like that. Shouldn’t ever be proprietary. The 4 comes from the collet issue and I did try to use a pick to open it up, but it’s really tough stuff which is great so when I get a chance, I will try to open it up with a small punch or a lineup tool or something like that and see if I can open it slightly. I would strongly suggest that a P take a 18 bit and try to install it before they send it out. It could use proprietary bits, but I didn’t want that so I used the other collet so I could use 1/8” bits all the way around.

I ordered this after I was unable to find my old Dremel tool, I have a full size die grinder but I needed to use some smaller felt bits in order to polish a project in some tight areas. So I ordered this tool along with a cheap 100 pack of polishing bits. I have been using this for a few different projects since then, and so far everything is great. Brand name Dremel bits fit, as do some cheapie off brand bits. Very smooth operation, and it's much easier to control than my old Dremel. Another thing is the plastic tube thing that it has on the air line, push that onto the end of the tool and you get a nice little muffler! I have been keeping the tool well lubricated with every use, and extra important as I want it to break in nicely. I also saw several different choices, but I have had very good luck with Astro with some other air tools. So I figured it was worth the few extra bucks. I don't know how much air this would use, the line seems pretty small, so I assume it would be easy with a smaller tank... My 60 gallon 2 stage hardly notices it, only cycling a few times when running it. I will note that I was surprised that it even cycled that second time. Overall, I'm happy! Better than a Dremel, and I have one more tool to justify the cost of having my air compressor!

I own a Bluepoint pencil grinder...paid $300, I stopped using it after I purchased two of these. The Bluepoint sits in my box at home. I work in aviation and these particular grinders are spectacular. For the price, you can't beat them. I use them for very precise machining of alloy and wood. 1/8 diameter bits fit perfectly. If the price of these go up slightly...no worries. But if the price point goes anywhere near $50....shop around. They spool up, have torque and will shear 1/8 cutters if you let them get away from you....a professionals tool.

I don't know how to measure sheerness as the jungle site recommends but this is a great tool for polishing small parts. It's a little air hungry but works well. It's good if you need one fast and on the cheap, but not as good as the Chicago Pneumatic it replaced. I will be ordering the Chicago Pneumatic after giving this one a try.
