The Zoobilee Latex Warthog dog toy is perfect for medium to large sized dogs. It grunts for added interest. Review: tough dog toy - My almost 3 year old Golden Retriever loves this toy! Surprisingly, it took him 8 months to finally tear off the nose and pull out the heavy duty grunting noise maker inside. I love that it is a low toned grunt instead of the usual high pitched squeek. Review: Good quality - My dog loves this toy, he especially likes the noise it makes.

Virtually Indestructible
No toy has lasted more than one day with my dachshund, Chewy. This warthog toy has lasted more than ten days and is still going strong. Today I received a second one, so that my Dalmatian, Nikko, has one of his own. Other reviews have complained that the photo does not represent the newer model. This is true. The newer one is slightly smaller and has white eyes. I have never owned the older model. However, it is hard to see how it could be any better than the new one. Chewy and Nikko highly recommend this toy. They both love it.

Squeaker poorly designed with toy. Does not stay attached.
The squeaker part of warthog detached inside toy within 10 minutes of Lab playing with it. Will reconsider this type of toy for future purchases. My lab has other toys with squeakers and loves playing with them. Disappointed with this one unfortunately.

More durable than department store pigs
Our dog loves the oink sound! This warthog is very durable! We've had it for a couple days now, and the oinker is still securely in place. Comparatively, we previously bought a pig toy from Walmart and were sorely disappointed because the oinker first broke within about 10 minutes. We used needle nose pliers to put it back into place, but our pup consistently broke the oinker every couple minutes after we'd fix it.

Not super resilient against chewing
My blue Heeler chewed this up and destroyed this in a matter of hours.

Durable
Boxer family here. We discovered the latex piggies with our last duo of boxers. They loved them for the oink sound over regular squeaky toys. I relented to the fact that they wouldnโt last long as they were cheap enough to pick a couple up frequently to watch their enjoyment. With 2 new boxer pups I went on a search for something that โoinkedโ and was more durable, lasting longer. I had to weigh the decision of these warthogs- durability vs price as they are more than double the price. The material is a much thicker shiny latex/plastic combo. It still gives but not nearly as easily as a rubber glove thickness. My dogs are tough chewers and if you have the same concerns, use with interactive playtime or supervised. Oink, oink!
