Supplementing with hyaluronic acid and collagen made a big difference in my skin but not my fingernails. I started supplementing with keratin (another brand) and began seeing results within a couple of months. First thing I noticed was that my skin healed more quickly, especially from bug bites. Then I switched to Vitamatic keratin. I expected to see continued improvements in the strength of my fingernails and the appearance of my skin in the months that followed. Initially I continued to see improvements especially in my fingernails. Unfortunately the improvements were short-lived. After nearly 5 months of using Vitamatic keratin, my fingernails and skin have reverted to the way they were at the beginning of the year. I will try doubling the dose to 4 capsules daily to see if that helps. I really thought the Vitamatic keratin would work. Even signed up for Amazon Subscribe & Save. After finishing off my 3rd bottle, I will switch to another brand.
