I’ve been using this for around 6 years now, its my go to off the shelf rub. Having gone through dozens of bottles of this stuff it is the most consistent off the shelf rub I have used. The flavor is noticeable but not overwhelming, it gives great color and forms some outstanding bark.

I used to used a product similar to this from A1. Of course like everything else that is great they quit making it. Then I told to try something called Loot N Booty BBQ Everything Rub. It is good but it's not sweet and has a spiciness to it and kind of salty. Then I found Sweet Rub O Mine. This is now my new favorite, Its a little sweet, not spicy at all, doesn't taste salty at all. I use it on all my ribs, chicken, roasts, burgers, etc. Not as good as the A1 product they don't make anymore but this is very close. I use it so much I finally bought the 5 pound bag.

Totally LOVED It! First dish was grilled chicken breast slices and fresh Hawaiian Pineapple,and thick diced Vidialia onion,drizzled with Olive Oil, and grilled over Apple Wood . I used a stainless steel basket. Perfect Tang,and heat, we also grilled it with our homemade BBQ sauce. Now I also make my own rub for over 30 years, 50#’s at a rip , this was it’s equal. FABULOUS! We grill year round here in Florida . If you want a GOOD,PROFESSIONAL RUB, Amazon’s got it!
