Gentle, Comfortable, Fragrance Free, Simple/Good Ingredients, pH Friendly, & Effective!
I have really sensitive skin on my entire body, and down below is much the same! I needed to treat a stubborn case of BV with extended antibiotics, and I was adding adjuncts like lactic acid gel, vaginal probiotics, and lactulose capsules as a multi modal treatment. So...I had lots of different topical products leaking out of my nether regions, and lots of changes going down below as I healed up from having a BV infection. Thus I wanted something to be both a protective barrier for my external skin, and something that would be slightly soothing as well. I searched and searched for different creams or gels to help me for quite some time. Many brands were missing key ingredients/components. This brand had just the RIGHT ingredients, and simple ones that were in line with maintaining proper vaginal area pH and being gentle/non irritating. Ingredients that were recommended in the research that I had done. I nervously tried a little bit of the cream hoping I would not have the typical burning/stinging reaction and was pleasantly surprised to feel no irritation upon application! Instead I felt moisturized and comforted which was great! It took away mild external irritation/dryness in a flash and lasted the rest of the day! I am so happy to have found something that checked off all the boxes! Now I also have something too after BV treatment for day to day use on days that feel dry, or for mild irritation after sex or swimming etc! I love that it is not too thick of a cream, and it is also not unnatural like a lube-ey gel. It feels like healthy, natural moisture (not greasy), and it helped to keep my pH in check and acidic/normal too! Oh, and might I add that it does not have fragrance, and it has simple, proven ingredients that are safe for lady bits! I am a sensitive skinned person, so I imagine if it felt comforting to me, then it probably would for others with sensitive skin. I am in my early 40s. I think that this cream would also be VERY helpful for women that are feeling dry too. But it is also incredibly helpful as a barrier/soother while using medication or healing mildly irritated lady bits. This is a great product, especially compared to a LOT of the other brands with more questionable ingredients out there! Gynatrof is awesome! They put effort into making the right mixture with good pH and lactic acid to help keep the microbiome healthy while soothing the tender tissues simultaneously. I actually wish that I would have known about this product years ago when I had various other issues in the past that it would have helped with! To keep things extra clean, I just used a q-tip to dip into the cream rather than using my fingers. Using q-tips also helps me to apply the cream a bit better into nooks and crannies with ease too/ more evenly.

The absolute best!
This is the absolute best moisturizer I’ve ever used. Let me give you a little back story. I’ve always had problems with sex. I was diagnosed with vaginismus when I decided to start having sex at the age of 21. Through the years, sex for me wax and wane, with some good times and some really bad uncomfortable sex for me and my partner. I did end up getting married and had two daughters via c-section. Anyway my sex life took a turn for the worse in 2016. Sex became UNBEARABLE! Went to my obgyn and found out I was in menopause and had atropic vaginitis. I was started on Osphena tablets. On day 15 of taking this medicine, I developed severe lower abdominal pain and after seen my doctor found out I had a large bleeding ovarian cyst. I ended up having surgery to remove my right ovary. My obgyn started me on estrogen inserts which caused more discomfort. Meanwhile at home I have a very unhappy husband because sex is so uncomfortable for me. In 2018, she started me on Intrarosa vaginal inserts. I pay $35.00/month for copay. I really wanted it to work. Sex improved about 5%. Still uncomfortable and I find every excuse not to have sex. When I do have sex, my whole pelvic area is painful for up to a week, so I can’t even think about attempting for another month or so. That’s how uncomfortable sex had become. Finally in January 2021, after another very uncomfortable painful sexual experience, I decided that this intrarosa is not working. I wanted to try the Mona Lisa touch surgery, but I was skeptical because a lot of the reviews were not positive. I decided to do a little research and found out about hyaluronic acid as an effective vaginal moisturizer. I came to Amazon and discovered this product Gynatrof. I decided to give it a try. It was cheaper than my copay for intrarosa. The reviews were great! I followed the instructions and inserted every night for 10 nights, then three times a week. I have had sex three times since starting it, and every time it got better. I’m on my second tube and I do not regret buying it. I could not remember the last time I had sex and did not experience some form of discomfort during and after the act. Well the second and last time I had sex, I had absolutely NO discomfort! I could not believe it! My husband is happy. I feel so much better. When I tell you this works? It WORKS! I have tried so many different moisturizers from refresh to vitamin e, to the ones I mentioned above, and none were as effective as this product. Ladies if you’re having problems with vaginal atrophy, dryness or any conditions that makes sex uncomfortable and unbearable, this is the product for you. By the way, I’m 53 years old. I know some of the reviews mentioned the applicator as being faulty and leaks the gel. It really does, but that does not make the product less wonderful. I have bought a pack of applicators on Amazon and will get them tomorrow. I will update you if the applicators work well.

Lifesaver and works great with no mess
Vaginal moisturizers with hyaluronic acid are a lifesaver! And this is the best one I have tried. I was thrown into early menopause by chemo, and experienced terrible internal dryness and chafing (making sex impossible), but could not use estrogen because my breast cancer was hormone-positive. When I finally found these vaginal moisturizers, they changed my life. But many of the cheaper ones have a messy discharge, and the applicators don't work very well. Gynatrof simply works. The applicator is smaller, so you don't end up with messy discharge. The applicator fits better on the tube--though occasionally I have to tinker with it when I get to the end of the tube. (The applicator gets a bit gummed up, even with washing, so it is harder to squeeze the gel up into it.) One thing: the first time you use any of these products, you may experience weird discharge and even burning. Your vagina starts sloughing off the old, dry skin. I even felt like I had a UTI, but I really didn't. (I was using a different product, not Gynatrof.) After a few days of use, these sensations passed, and I never had them again.

Expensive but it works
Probably the best lube/moisturizer I've used. Not greasy or sticky and seems to promote rapid healing of any sore areas.

Works better than creams!
I’ve been using this for over a year now and have found it to be the best vaginal moisturizer available at a reasonable cost. You need to insert it fairly soon after filling the applicator because it’ll leak out if you don’t hold it upright. However the somewhat liquid nature is what makes this work so well. It stays in place best if you put it in as you’re getting into bed for the night. I’ve used creams in the past and found that they don’t melt enough to really coat the area plus they were more expensive. This product really helps keep your post-menopausal vagina moister and more comfortable and can help sex feel less painful.

Applicator Is Painful
I completed the seven days loading dose. I made it another two weeks applying every other day and only missed doing that once. I’m at the end of three weeks of total usage and I have decided I can no longer deal with the pain of the applicator. The product does nothing negative to me, but the applicator scrapes my insides, and I put product on the outside of the applicator and on me before use and the end of the applicator scrapes me and the sides of it catch and skip inside me and make me feel bloated and in pain like I was on the first few days of my cycle when I was much younger. During the three weeks I used it, my dryness was not alleviated in the slightest, and I still had to use a topical lubricant for intimacy each time while using this product and hoping it would take effect. The first time the applicator end scraped me, I was in bed for 24 hours straight, in extreme pain in the fetal position, and unable to move. It stopped me in my tracks. I moved ahead from there by applying more product to the outside of the applicator but it still hurt me. I’ve taken all I can. I read the reviews before trying the product. I ordered disposable applicators that were threaded, but this dispensing tube is smaller so the threaded disposable ones wouldn’t work. And no, you can’t force the larger applicator against the product tube anyway and try to guide the product into it. It goes everywhere because the product tube is angled down away from where the applicator meets the tube. I kept seeing water inside the tube between uses despite trying to shake it out after cleaning and storing it upright so the water used to clean it could drain out. I would definitely prefer disposable applicators for this very reason. So far no UTI’s but it concerned me. I did ask for specific measurements of the product tube but was unable to find any disposable applicators that fit. I even purchased a second tube so I could take it unopened to my pharmacy to see if they may have applicators they may be willing to sell me, but I lost my nerve to ask. That just seemed too uncomfortable a thing to ask in my opinion. I’m frustrated and hurting badly from inserting the applicator once again and I will not try this again. The pain has been more than I can dismiss.

Wanted it to work
I was hopeful this would be an answer to dryness. And technically it was, until I started having grape sized white tissue? Product? Not completely sure, come out of my vagina about 7-8 days after starting use. I'm not startled by much, but these mystery "balls" caught me off guard. What drew my attention to this happening was that I briefly thought I was prolapsing my vagina...suddenly there was a feeling of fullness, almost like a tampon...and I haven't used a tampon since my hysterectomy three years ago, THAT much of this white stuff. My best guess it's a result of the product expelling itself out of the body after several days. If I had the fortune of some intimate time with my partner, I would have been embarrassed at all of these white things coming out and sticking to everything. Also, the concerns about the applicator are very valid. There is no effective way to clean it. The instructions seem to indicate you can pull the plunger out and throughly clean both pieces and then reassemble. This is not a possibility, to pull the plunger out, you'd have to destroy the applicator. I could not get the remaining product out of the applicator, real concern for infection.

I am menopausal and have had a real difficult time with drynesss. My doctor recommended a non hormonal cream however it burned when I was really dry. Gynotroph does not. It has actually helped to rejuvenate my private area and keeps that area lubericated well. Great product! My vagina and I thank you.
