E-Bike Hydraulic Disc Brake Set 4-Pistons/2-Pistons,2-PIN/3-PIN Pre-Bled with Mineral Oil Brakes Kit,Front and Rear Set,180mm 2.3mm Thick Rotors

Purchased this to upgrade my SoHoo Beach Cruiser E-bike brakes, which is an extra-large and heavy e-bike, and I am an extra-large rider, so I need brakes that have excellent stopping performance. The OEM brakes were just not enough. These do work very nice. Everything was a simple bolt on job, and the fit was excellent. I did have to cut and splice the brake wires because my bike did not have a plug, which was not the fault of the seller. This was an issue for my particular bike, and it was easy enough to splice and seal the wires. The brakes are nice and strong and work as I expected. You can adjust the point at which the brake light is triggered, and you can further adjust the travel of the brake handle to suit your preference for how much braking force will cause the electric motor to be cut off. In my case, I adjusted the brakes so the motor is cut off at about 20% handle movement, and the brakes begin to stop the bike at about 30% handle travel. The brakes have a very nice and solid feel, and they stop this bike very well. I like them enough to order a second set for my wife's HeyBike.

I'm impressed. I live in a mountainous region and these brakes are astonishing. With the 4 pistons per pad I believe, the braking power is instantaneous. I'm. so happy I got these. Would never switch back to anything less, and for the price I couldn't be happier for these lower end but high quality hydraulic disc brakes. In addition the discs are much thicker than the normal disc brakes that come with the mid-tier ebikes on the markt, meaning they are much stronger and will last longer.

Quality build, great adjustment, and easy to install. If you have experience installing and bleeding hydraulic brakes, then these are no different. The bleed process is similar to Sram brakes where you need the syringe installed on the lever as well as the caliper. Be sure to have the proper cable cutting tool so that you do not crimp the cable. The lever length is great for up to three fingers. The increased braking power is very noticeable compared to the stock mechanical brakes my bike came with.

Used these brakes to replace the brakes on my cheap Amazon ebike. they are a definite upgrade. Biek stops much better. You need to watch a bunch of videos to learn how to install them and bleed the hydraulic lines. they look very professional, stop the bike quietly and strongly. they fit perfectly and seem very durable, more durable than what came on the bike.

These hydraulic breaks are night and day different from the manual breaks that were installed on my 26” X 4” fat tire e-bike. My bike weighs roughly 60 lbs but with my 230 lb and extra battery, tool kit, loaded saddle bag….etc…..stopping quickly is an adventure. These hyd breaks make slowing down a heavy e-bike a great experience. I would almost compare it to slowing down your car….slight pressure on the break leavers gives you 4 - 5 times the stopping power as manual breaks. Installation was fairly easy without reading the instructions. The hardware (calipers, break leavers, wiring) was a perfect fit. The hyd lines were slightly long which I looped close to the handle bars to take up the excess. Everything to shorten the lines were included but I chose to loop the lines to avoid having to bleed the system. The loops are not noticeable and do not interfere with turning so I’m okay with it. I would definitely recommend based on quality, price, fit, and stopping power.

Great set of hydraulic brakes. Much better than oem wired tension brakes. Never installed before and it only took me about 45 mins. (Tire removal, etc) This should be the standard brakes for all ebikes. Also I must add that three do not feel cheap at all. They are very nice.

love these brakes, made a huge difference in stopping power on me ebike from my cable bakes even with fresh pads. would highly recommend. Easy to install.

Monté hier avec facilité pour le moment je suis très satisfait,je n'ai eu aucun réglage a faire juste a les monté a la place de ceux que j'avais, les durites sont un peu longue prévoir de les couper ou sinon comment moi vous vous arrangez pour que se soit visuellement pas trop long sur les côtés. Je recommande vraiment ce produit de super qualité, envoie soigné dans une jolie boîte 👍

Really good value for substantial stopping power. Remember the pads have to bed in. I had a scratched lever on delivery and a replacement was sent rapidly, which was not a hassle at all 😎
