I started to use this instead of soy sauce following friends' recommendations to avoid the sodium content in soy sauce. I am very pleased with this switch: it hasn't affected the taste of my specialty, Chicken Adobo, and other dishes I use it in.

This is a nice alternative to soy sauce and great for cooking and seasoning with. I like it for adding flavor to soups and stews and when sauteing fish, but you can use it for just about anything. It's also gluten-free because it's made from just soy beans, unlike soy sauce which adds wheat. Pound for pound it has about the same amount of sodium as soy sauce, but it is much saltier in flavor so you don't have to use very much, which means less sodium in the end. You can also easily dilute it with water if you're looking to lower the sodium content, and it will still add plenty of flavor. Definitely be careful not to use too much...one could even call this a "concentrate." If you're using it for sushi or adding it on top of rice or other foods, I would definitely recommend diluting it with water first. Additionally, being able to dilute it or not needing to use very much to add flavor also helps to make it more economical.

Even our dogs love it on their dry dog food which is excellent nutritionally wise by itself...but a few light squirts in it with a very light spray of sesame seed oil...mix it all in .... you would think they are eating prime rib..for me, put it on several dishes of mine lightly adding in a light spray of Japanese toasted sesame seed oil on salads, beef, turkey, chicken, rice, mash potatoes, pasta and you name it...sure does put robust in the food especially together...for me and our dogs, I go light on both, just enough for great flavor together

I use Braggs Liquid Aminos in all my savoury cooking. It add a lot of depth of flavour without as much salt. Braggs works in place of soy sauce and can be added to gravy, sauces, salad dressing, macaroni and cheese, and even your morning porridge! Delightful. And great value for money here. 💰

This is a great substitute for soy sauce for those who are looking for a diet option. It is salty so a little bit goes a long way but you don't end up with the sodium issue that you end up with with regular soy sauce.

Seriously love this stuff and love that it’s a more healthy version of my beloved soy sauce. We use this for stir fried, making sauces and marinades and just adding to food for that umami flavour. Will definitely be purchasing again though have noticed cost has shot you and the bottles are smaller than when I first purchased. Possibly as imported and affected by Covid 19 pandemic/ importing reduction? Either way, still worth it due to it being a healthier alternative to soy sauce!
