- Creamy Roasted Garlic Pesto Pasta Sauce, 14.5 oz Jar

I tried this pesto sauce for a quick pasta dinner, and overall I liked it. The flavor is fresh and herby, with a nice balance of basil and garlic. It saved me time compared to making pesto from scratch, which is a big plus. However, I did notice it’s a bit oily, so I had to stir it well before using. The salt level is also slightly high for my taste. Still, it coats pasta nicely and tastes great with chicken or veggies. I’d buy it again, but probably use a smaller amount next time.

I actually really love this sauce! After using so many tomato based pasta sauces, I wanted to try something new. This sauce is borderline restaurant quality in my opinion. The flavor is creamy with the right amount of garlic and basil for me, it's not too intense which I can appreciate. The only spice I add to it is black pepper, so that for me, speaks volumes in terms of the amount of flavor! I weigh all my food, so using the 60ml serving suggestion works great for my individual meal. I do add about 2T of chicken stock to thin it out so that it can coat the pasta and pairings nicely, then let it reduce. I typically like my pastas drenched in sauce, but I tend to go over my macros when I did that in the past, so adding the chicken stock is a great substitution.

I tried this alfredo sauce on a busy weeknight and it was surprisingly decent. The texture is creamy and smooth, and it coats pasta nicely without clumping. I also liked that it didn’t taste overly salty like some jarred sauces do. However, the flavor felt a bit flat and lacked that rich, cheesy depth I expect from a good alfredo. I had to add garlic and parmesan to boost it. The jar was also smaller than expected for the price. Overall, it’s convenient and okay in a pinch, but not something I’d rely on for a special dinner overall experience.

Tasted wonderful with ravioli. Not as heavy and rich as alfredo, great alternative to red sauce. Will buy again.

I’ve tasted the sauce before and I love it. No complaints about the product itself, however I was upset when I opened the box upon arrival and saw sauce spilled out on the inside of the box and its other contents. One of the 3 gars I ordered had the bottom of the jar completely busted. I opened the bubble wrap and it was broken glass and sauce. I thought the other two were ok until I opened the second bubble wrap and saw sauce on the inside and discovered that the jar was not sealed or even closed. I opened the third bubble wrap and it was fine. So, out of the 3 jars I ordered, only one arrived in good condition and is able to be used. I’m sad and disappointed.

Tasty & simple to prepare but I prefer my homemade pesto, even if previously frozen. Won't rebuy.
