What can i say? For this price, it’s amazing! I can really feel the difference between stereo and the new 5.1.2 atmos, music is so much more punchier and movies are so immersive. I can literally hear sounds behind me and on top of me. Works great with my Apple TV 4K and the super easy to setup and the AI EQ tailors to my needs. What a great budget system. It really sounds amazing and a definite bargain for its pricen

For this price you can’t beat this product, I was blown away not only by the sound but by the careful though that has gone into the design, making it a great experience for the end user. I have done a few questions and answers here based on what I think people want to know, or certainly based on things I wanted to know 1. Is it easy to set up? Yes, I literally removed it from the packaging, plugged each component in and it all paired automatically -and instantly! 2. Can you dim the display? Yes, there is a button on the remote for dimming and even switching the display off completely. Fantastic. 3. Does it save settings? Yes, however you leave it when you switch it off is how it will be set when you switch it on, providing the soundbar isn’t unplugged at any time. 4. Does it have tone controls? Yes, it has various equaliser modes at the touch of a button, and has bass and treble controls on the remote. Fantastic. 5. Can you adjust the level to the rear? Yes, a bit hidden in the instructions but you can press and hold the surround button then increase or decrease the output level to the rear. This is useful to balance them according to distance. 6. Can you adjust sound sync if needed? Yes, it’s in the menu, I’ve not used it but it’s there. I’ve played music and movies and it’s always been synced perfectly so far. 7. Does it look good? Yes, sleek, minimalistic, no fuss, just a clean professional design with minimal branding and a quality finish. 8. Is the sound quality good? No. It’s fantastic. Seriously. It’s so good it’s a wonder how a system like this can be priced so competitively. 9. Should I buy one? Yes, go and buy one, there can be only one outcome, and that is total satisfaction.

This is a brief review of the Hisense AX5125H 5.1.2 Soundbar. It is absolutely brilliant for the money. I bought this to compliment my new PC/TV monitor... for gaming and so on. I have a full blown proper Denon 7.1 surround sound receiver with nice quality speakers in my living room... so, I am well used to quality cinema like experiences. Anyway, I decided to firstly try this Hisense in the living room to see how it compared with the much more expensive system. I was honestly blown away with just how good it is. My main sub is a 15 inch (this really does pump out earth shattering base). The Hisense sub is small, think it is a 6inch or so. No matter, it is super well balanced with the main bar and rear surrounds. I cannot fault the overall sound balance. A volume level of 40 out of 99 is more than enough for watching films. Vocals are nice and crisp, not muddied by the bass, yet bass is well spread through the room. The rear speakers are small, but again effective for what they need to do. (Mains cables could be longer though). Popping on some YouTube Dolby Atmos test examples, really was incredible. You truly feel the sound move around the room. One is enveloped by sound. It's like you are there in real life. As an aside, I helped my sister get her 5.1 soundbar system a couple of years ago. She had tried a Denon and Polk Atmos soundbars without any rear speakers. They were honestly trash. Eventually she settled on a Polk 5.1 surround and loves it. Bottom line is that you DO need the rear speakers to get the immersive effect. I cannot fault this AX5125H in any way... not for what you are paying for it. It really does hold up well. Highly recommended indeed.

Pretty much plug and play (I had to adjust a couple of settings on my TV, but that's not the soundbar's fault), the fact that the sub and rear speakers are wireless saves having to run cables everywhere (but be mindful you'll need conveniently placed power sockets), it doesn't have the blinding blue LED on it that manufacturers insist on putting in everything (there is an LED display, but turning the brightness down hides it and it just turns on momentarily if you adjust the volume or something), it's supported every encoding format I've thrown at it, and the sound quality is excellent for the price - dialogue is clear, the soundstage feels open (but see downsids), and while the sub isn't earth shaking it's also not boomy or overpowering. The downsides are that that upfiring speakers don't seem to achieve anything, it can take a few seconds to start producing noise if you switch encoding format (e.g. the menu sounds in Netflix are simple PCM but videos are usually Dolby Surround or Atmos), there's a lack of any calibration or volume balancing options, it plays an annoying tune at power on and off, and the fact that it shuts off after a few minutes if it's not actively making noise is a pain - I have my PC connected to the TV for playing games so if I spend too long staring at Steam deciding what to play the speakers will shut off. Overall not perfect, but I am more than happy with it.

WOW, WOW and WOW. This soundbar genuinely surprised me. If you want proper surround sound without paying out an excessive amount, this system delivers it in a big way. The combination of the upfiring speakers, rear surrounds and the wireless subwoofer creates a wide, immersive soundstage that completely transforms films, sport, music, news and even night‑time listening. Sound Quality & Modes There are plenty of preset options — sport, movie, music, news, night and AI — and each one noticeably changes the feel of the audio. You also get Pro and Pure surround modes, which let you tailor the experience even further. Bass and treble adjustments are standard, but the real power is in the deeper settings. Performance The Atmos height channels work well, the subwoofer hits hard without being muddy, and the rear speakers add genuine depth. Whether it’s films, live sport, music, news, night mode or AI, the system fills the room with clean, powerful audio that feels far more premium than the price suggests. If you don’t want to mess about with lots of settings, the easiest setup is to leave the soundbar in AI mode with Pro Surround selected, then simply adjust bass, treble, and the rear speaker levels to suit your room. It’s quick, simple, and still gives excellent results. For those who want more control, holding the Menu button for five seconds opens the hidden sub‑menu, and holding the Surround button for three seconds lets you change the rear ambience with Surround +/– — both of which make a noticeable difference. Hidden Features The deeper tuning options aren’t mentioned in the manual, but they’re well worth exploring. The hidden sub‑menu and rear ambience controls let you fine‑tune the system far beyond the standard presets, and they genuinely improve the overall soundstage. Downside I’m knocking off one star because the remote stopped working after about four months. Thankfully, a replacement was cheap and easy to get from Amazon, but it’s still worth mentioning. Also, while the rear speakers and subwoofer connect wirelessly via Bluetooth, they still need to be plugged into a wall socket for power, so the system isn’t truly “wireless” in the way some people might expect. It’s only a minor thing, but worth noting for anyone planning their setup. Overall Impression A fantastic soundbar with huge performance, loads of tuning options and some very handy hidden features that really elevate the experience. Despite the remote issue, this is a great product and one I fully recommend.

Excellent soundbar for the price. The Dolby Atmos effect is impressive, the bass is powerful, and the overall sound is clear and immersive. Setup was quick and easy, and it works perfectly with my TV. Highly recommended!

Setup was fairly easy for the soundbar and subwoofer, needed some AAA batteries for the remote which I thankfully had some in the draw from another remote for another sound system, Poseidon D60. However, the setup for the rear speakers were a bit trickier. I expected some longer power cables so I could connect to the same plug but they are barely a metre long or less so remember you will need a plug around that space or an extension cable. I realized I had a plug behind the sofa though so I used that. First of all tried Avatar The Way of Water, bass not even that high about +1 and surround and it is unreal. The flaps of the wings of the raptors were boomy as they flapped through the air and action boomed out of the screen. The rear speakers had water sounds flowing through and the music feels full with instruments separated from the main bar and the rear speakers. Even just the soundbar was immersive, the flaps of the wings above, you could hear they were more above you than on surface level. Very impressed. Then I tried some music, specifically Destroyer of Worlds from Oppenheimer, which I loved in cinema. If this is in any way similar to my experience in the cinema, I'm keeping this. And holy moly, the room shook, I felt as if the atomic bomb was actually going to go off. This was about 50% volume and +5 bass so don't expect to play this when others are around but the fact it can do this has completely sold me. Music is just so boomy, it's not amazing for all songs, sometimes the bass is too boomy for the music produced, but then you just turn down the bass and it's still great. I'm in love with this sound system, I actually feel like I have a cinema in the house. I did some testing, +1 bass is really good for films and went upstairs to check and you couldn't feel it, anything above people will hear it. This is still great for films so I recommend this for night watching. Either way, there is a night mode and you can put the bass down to -5 to please everyone. Even then, -5 still produces more bass than the tv ever would and is still a great experience. I had the Poseidon D60 for a few days and sent it back because it just wasn't as big a difference as I wanted for £200. This at £300 though is miles and miles above that, it's as if I spent triple what I paid for the Poseidon. I think for 99% of people, this will be more than enough to make a home cinema experience. Cannot recommend more.

Firstly, not entirely convinced that this was a 'new' product, despite being sold by Amazon as such. Box appeared to have several layers of previously cut tape holding it closed, batteries were already in the remote control, and the tape holding the speakers bags wasn't stuck down properly and had dirt / dust stuck to it. Either Hisense really skimp on the packaging or a used one found its way to me? Regardless, set it up which was quick and easy, speakers already paired to soundbar. Sound certainly good enough for the price, although not as mind blowing as reviews suggested, and a bit bass light despite the solid feeling subwoofer. Was happy enough with it until I started using the HDMI in on it with an Xbox Series X so I could try out the Dolby Atmos (which doesn't work over ARC so has to be plugged straight into the soundbar. Impressive surround (if a bit weak bass as above), but found that after an hour or so of playing, the video from the Xbox dropped out several times for a second or so each time. Audio carried on uninterrupted, but black screen whenever this happened. I've put in many multi hour gaming sessions on this Xbox, both through my old LG AVR (sadly departed!) and directly plugged into the TV, never seen these drop outs before. Plugged the XBox directly back into the TV to test and played the same game from the same point for a few more hours non-stop with no video drop outs. As this only happened when playing through the soundbar sockets, can only assume fault with the soundbar. Also found it slow to respond to volume up/down on the remote, on one occasion seemingly either getting stuck or lagging and continuing to change volume for a few seconds after I had released the button. For the price, not bad sound and I probably would have gotten used to the remote lag and 'thin' sound, but the video dropout is a deal breaker. Can't get Dolby Atmos without HDMI into the bar, can't accept the image cutting out which that resulted in.

Pour le prix il n'y a pas mieux. Très bon son avec largement assez de puissance, voir même un peu trop si l'on n'y fait pas attention. Plusieurs égaliseurs intégrés, avec en plus la faculté de régler les basses et aigus séparément. Très facile d'installation. Regarder un film ou une série devient encore plus plaisant avec. Surtout quand on l'achète a 299 euros, c'est encore mieux.

Ho impostato il suono su "Musica" senza toccare altri parametri, e il suono è risultato subito incredibile. La chiarezza e la nitidezza del suono riempiono la stanza, creando un'esperienza di ascolto davvero coinvolgente. Subwoofer Efficace: Il subwoofer è semplicemente fantastico! Si attiva solo con le basse frequenze, regalando bassi pieni e vibranti che non solo si ascoltano, ma si sentono nel profondo. È un piacere ascoltare la musica e vedere film con un audio così ricco e potente. ⚙️ Facilità d'Uso: Imbattibile! L'installazione è stata rapida e senza stress. Collegare il dispositivo è stato di una semplicità disarmante. Connessione Bluetooth (BT) Veloce: Grazie al Bluetooth, mi è bastato inserire le spine della barra e del subwoofer: si sono collegati tra loro immediatamente e in autonomia, senza alcun problema. In sintesi: Tutto è stato estremamente semplice, efficace e la qualità audio ha superato le mie aspettative! Se cercate un audio pulito, potente e con bassi che si fanno sentire, non esitate a fare questo acquisto. Assolutamente consigliato! Ottimo acquisto!

Ich habe nach einem Upgrade für meinen TV-Sound gesucht und bin mit der Hisense AX5125H absolut fündig geworden. Das Set bietet echtes Heimkino-Feeling im Wohnzimmer! Klang & Dolby Atmos: Durch die nach oben strahlenden Lautsprecher (Upfiring) in der Bar und den echten Rears ist der Raumklang genial. Man fühlt sich bei Filmen und Spielen mittendrin. Kabellose Freiheit: Sowohl der Subwoofer als auch die Rücklautsprecher verbinden sich kabellos mit der Hauptbar (nur Stromkabel nötig). Das spart lästiges Kabelaussortieren quer durchs Zimmer. Bass & Power: Der Subwoofer hat ordentlich Wumms, ohne dröhnend zu wirken. Dialoge bleiben dank der klaren Sprachverständlichkeit immer gut verständlich. Einrichtung: Per HDMI eARC an den Fernseher angeschlossen, Strom dran – läuft. Absolut unkompliziert. Wer echten Surround-Sound inklusive Atmos sucht und keine Tausende Euro ausgeben möchte, macht hier alles richtig. Absolute Empfehlung!

El sonido envolvente es muy inmersivo, con diálogos claros, graves potentes y efectos bien distribuidos que realmente llenan la habitación. Los canales traseros inalámbricos hacen una gran diferencia, aportando una sensación de cine en casa sin necesidad de instalaciones complicadas. Además, la configuración es bastante sencilla y rápida, incluso para alguien que no es experto en audio. El subwoofer añade unos bajos profundos y contundentes que se notan especialmente en escenas de acción o música, sin llegar a distorsionar el sonido general. Waanzinnig geluid voor deze redelijk “budget” dolby atmos 5.1 set. Bouwkwaliteit is goed en voelt robuust. Subwoofer heeft ook een redelijk gewicht! 2 surround speakers erbij die via stekker in het stopcontact gaan. Dus in totaal 3 plekken in de stekkerdoos kwijt. Maar deze ligt netjes achter de bank, dus geen probleem. Zowel muziek als films en series geven een prachtig helder en dynamische geluidservaring. Zelfs op laag volume. Wij zijn er erg blij mee. Wordt gebruikt in onze woonkamer die ongeveer 6,5 bij 10 meter is. 👌
