It is very heavy duty and it is also really big and it is very heavy. I think it will do the job just fine and I believe that it is worth the price point. It is winter here and my bicycle is inside the house. But it was very easy to use this and to set up the code. There are instructions in the box that are very easy to follow. They also have the instructions on the sale page on desertcart. Very happy with this. I do recommend this for anyone that needs a giant lock for their bicycle or E bike. Review: Works, but you have to figure it out yourself - I got this for my son to lock his bike up at school. The lock itself is fine. It has a big metal U that goes through the bike and the fence or whatever, and the bar that goes onto that with the combination lock in it. It feels more secure than a wire or chain kind that could be cut. My complaint is that it didn't come with English instructions. There are some pictures on the box, and my fifteen year old son was able to figure it out from that, but it really needs instructions for how to set your own combination. Also, the steps to set the combo are finicky. You have to remove a tiny screw and pry off the plastic cover plate beneath it. Then you set the combo it came with - 0000. Then there is a little metal bar that you have to push to the side and up (and you have to push this hard, so you need a screwdriver or something.) Next, you set your own code, push that little lever back to its orginal position, replace the plastic plate and screw. Here's the scale I'm using for my ratings: ⭐️ 1 star= Disappointed. I don't recommend it at all. It’s poorly made, or not what it’s listed to be. ⭐️⭐️ 2 stars = Has some redeeming qualities, would not buy again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 stars = Meh. It's passable. Might not be worth the price. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 stars = Mostly satisfied, with some issues. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars = Completely satisfied. Recommend.
