Zero lag, no dead pixels, good colours
The monitor setup was very easy and a stand with a lot of height adjustability is included. The game visual modes are useful, you can setup presets for different games. There is no noticeable input lag when gaming and the refresh rate of 180hz is more than enough for a 1440p display. The monitor colour accuracy looks good when looking at photos. The usb-c connectivity is useful to have as it means you don't need an adapter to connect different devices including tablets and phones. For the price, about £200 at time of purchase, it is one of the best 1440p monitors.

Good product and a good price point
Very good monitor for the price point, I got this awhile back so not sure about how it holds up, but for the price its hard to get any better.

Incredible value but some issues
The features you get with this monitor are very good for the price. Excellent sRGB accuracy, high refresh rate, variable overdrive so motion is responsive and looks great even while using freesync/gsync in games, and it's 1440p. The build quality is solid with hard plastics and not many unnecessary flourishes or RGB lighting. A couple of minor features that don't matter like a phone holder in the base and a low watt USB C port which will only matter to a small number of people. Before I get to complaints I'll finish off this review here but saying it works very well and is a good price. If you want better you've got to go OLED (VA panels have their own issues that I think make it not worth the middle ground). I do have a couple of issues though. One is major and prompted me to return my first order. Only highlighting these so much incase any of these are something that would be a dealbreaker for you. - IPS backlight. You expect bleed with these kinds of screens but the issue I have had with both of the panels I bought is the bottom of the screen being significantly dimmer than the top. Wouldn't be a huge issue except the taskbar is at the bottom, and the white text is a bit harder to read. Doesn't affect games at all but if you use PC desktops for work and play it might be annoying. - Coil whine. Whenever you turn it off/on, change settings on the monitor itself, or it changes resolution there is high pitched coil whine. Both units had it so it might just be inevitable for this model. Doesn't whine at all during use or while it's off so it's not a big complaint. - HDR support is in name only. It's 50 nits brighter than the default. In my experience what this translates to is a washed out look for mostly dark games, but a slightly better look for bright games as it's able to push the brightness of the brighter elements. It's an IPS panel so it is extremely limited in what benefit you'll get from it so beware any screen that says "HDR 400". OLED is going to give you what you need but those are 3-5 times the price of this monitor. - Grainy coating. A matte anti glare coating is applied to the panel and is very standard for IPS panels like this. Some people have said it is excessively grainy meaning solid white background look bad. I don't notice it too much but I have medical issues with my eyes so I don't notice it as much. It isn't really much different from other budget IPS displays though so bare that in mind. - Height adjustment is quite low even at max height. Doesn't give much flexibility. I didn't have the colour accuracy and temp issues that another reviewer had but each unit can vary in quality. Some have complained about the consistency of ASUS QA.

It’s simply the best monitor.
I don’t T game much but when I do this is one of the best screens I have ever bought. Crisp sharp imagery, no lag, and any gamer or video editing buff, will not be disappointed. Height adjustable and solid base plate all make for one enjoyable experience. Definitely considering buying a second to use side by side for general office work. If you seek sharpness in print and imagery look no further. - way more than a gaming monitor. Well boxed up and will arrive with signed for delivery by Amazon to ensure it gets to the right address. Another bonus not left for all to view on your doorstep.

Received a defective monitor - Asus replaced with ANOTHER defective monitor
Soon after using my monitor for the first time, lines started appearing on the screen that flicker and cover up a couple inches wide of the screen. Did all the trouble shooting, Asus determined it was a defective panel and did a swap for a new one for free under warranty. The new one has the EXACT same issue somewhere else in the screen. Both started having this issue soon after turning up the brightness for the first time.

A great monitor
Nice monitor to use and has a high refresh rate of 180Hz. An easy set up and has an adjustable base for angle and height. And it looks nice too both screen visuals and physical appearance of the device. Good value for money.

Strong IPS glow. Otherwise good
I've done my absolute best since getting this monitor to reduce the amount of IPS glow (the orange lights you see on the corners), and it hasn't made much difference. The IPS glow is really strong, and changes the colour of things displayed in the corners of the monitor, regardless of angle or brightness setting. I'm starting to think I've gotten a unit that has a particularly large amount of it but I'm not sure. For reference, this isn't something I noticed because Im a monitor nerd and a stickler for details, I simply noticed it because it's very distracting. I was trying to read text on a dark background and noticed it all turning orange. So do heed my warning, if the corners of your screen (up to half of the screen sometimes) being permanently orange sounds like something that would bother you, don't get this monitor. I know I'll be returning it as soon as I find a replacement. Other than the glow (which is a deal-breaker for me), the monitor has great performance in eSports game and very vibrant colours. It does have the ability to get very bright but this will increase the amount of orange considerably. The variable refresh rate works very well too.

Matte coating bad
Great monitor, except for the matte coating. It is really bad with moving pictures in game. Returning the monitor as we speak.

Top Monitor!
