I bought this 70Pcs 15/30/45 Amp Power Connectors with PVC Cover 1.5-6mm² (20-10AWG) battery connectors to terminate the power wires in a battery power box I built for my ham radio. Anderson-style Powerpoles have pretty much become the standard in the ham radio community, and these worked perfectly for making clean, reliable connections. The quality is solid, they fit well, and everything has been working smoothly. Very happy with the purchase. Worked as expected

I hadn't heard of these Power Pole connectors until recently. They are great! This kit provides a nice variety to get started. Know that the 14 pieces of 15Amp size are really the same as the 30Amp, so you are geting 28 30Amp pieces that hold up to 12 awg wire. I don't know if larger awg (smaller wire) would hold in the crimp. The crimper in this bundle does the job. Make sure you orient the bend on the metal piece down and in the correct slot. I had no issues, even on my first crimp.

The price is decent and if you're looking for an okay connector and not the real deal, these do okay. That said they are not without their issues. They do not fit together without some fiddling. The plastic works fine, and I have not seen any problems with that but when you try to insert the inside part that is where you have to fiddle with them to get them to seat in correctly. You have to really check to make sure they are fitted, or they will come apart and cause you trouble. All this being said, I still buy them and have used them now a couple of years for projects and radio connections to power supplies. They so far have not given any troubles, or any melting to occur with amperage applied. They are pretty decent in that regards and the price you'd be hard pressed to beat.

Great all around kit for putting wiring together. Made thi gs easy and was a life saver.

I would give these a 0 star rating but that is not available. I am experienced in electrical and electronic systems and have worked in the industry for many years. The connectors do not assemble well and there isn't a "snap" or positive indication that the terminals are locked in place. On first use with the 45 amp terminals and a maximum supply current of 40 amps one of the connectors partially melted, indicating that there was an internal resistance. Two other connections had the terminals pull out. Do yourself a favor and buy actual Anderson connectors not these low quality copies!

This tool and connectors was difficult to figure out because the were no instructions. Once the connector is crimped onto the wire, the angled metal hook goes into the larger opening of the plastic connector first with the angled piece pushed in all the way past the metal. The hook is supposed to pass the metal piece inside the plastic and click into place. If you're not using rigid wire it's difficult to push the connector in far enough. The crimpers are decent quality but the connectors for the small and medium gauge look identical. Once you figure everything out, it a nice quality connector. I almost gave up. I didn't and I found a new type of connector I'll be using often.
