Just wondering can this be installed upside down inside one of my kitchen cabinets on the wall? So when I open it to plug something in I pull it down?

Sorry I can't recommend to install it upside down, because it is not designed for this, it may slide down due to gravity.

some pictures show a chrome top & others a black top - is there an option to choose which finish?

Is this ce certified and if so it given in writing? it is important as electric power offices won't accept any other sockets in the house. thank you.
