Great chainsaw. If you plan on cutting for only an hour or two it's perfect. A second battery would enable you to cut as much as you want, since they charge fast and switching them out is really easy. I don't care to ever own a gas chain saw again after using this. I've had it about a year now and have used it pretty extensively.

More power than expected. I have used power saws of many sizes and for many purposes for decades. This was my first battery operated power saw. It gave me quick clean cuts. Be sure to have 2 batteries. I have another EGO product so have one battery with each or two if doing big task with one.

ego... always a good product

For years, i've been struggling with a gas power chainsaw.Till I seen the ego electric one, and I have a lot of the ego stuff like the lawnmower blower and everything I have to say it is a game changer.If you don't have to use it for longer than forty five minutes, that's about how long the battery lasts on eco power.But it is definitely powerful enough to cut down a tree.Since I have other ego productI can just exchange the batteries and charge them while I work.It is on the heavy side, though

I will never go back to gas powered chainsaws again. Easy to use, cuts exceptionally well, and can can through a 2 foot hard wood log in around a minute. If you're on the fence about buying one, don't be. Do yourself and your hands/arm/back a favor by never having to crank a gas powered chainsaw again.

Chainsaw works great. I was able to buck logs from a tree that we had taken down. Handled it like a champ and I appreciated not having to deal with gas and noise. I do, however, with the battery lasted longer. Or if additional batteries didn't cost so much. If I had say, three batteries on rotation, it'd be perfect, but one battery costs nearly as much as the chainsaw and battery together.

So far I’m very happy with this saws ability to cut- and to cut for a while. I have brand new batteries - on new batteries this saw is very impressive it cuts fast - and makes many cuts. Also, Ego customer service was incredibly helpful when I needed them (on a Saturday)

This thing is a powerful little tool. I live in Canada and we get snow every second day. This is very powerful and great for the balcony where the Adirondack chairs are. No need to move them around anymore to get the snow out. Also great for going around nooks and uneven stones that line the driveway. Battery life is excellent!

Lightweight, good speed, recharges quickly, easy to manipulate.

Idealement, il faudrait qu’ils vendent des kits avec 2 batteries Autre inconvénient: son poid et la gâchette a tendance à trop rentrer a l’intérieur qu’on finit par perdre de sa puissance et capacité, ce qui est domage.

Be aware that the 5 year warranty is really only 90 days from the date of purchase. The pin that moves the bar to tighten and loosen the chain broke off and I was told that they won’t give me a replacement part because it is past the 90 days of purchase, even though I received it less than 90 days ago . So not really a 5 year warranty in my opinion! I was told I have to now purchase the replacement part (as well as figure out how to replace it)! Unfortunate, since I like the saw and it cuts aggressively, although I think the battery is average and not really up to 130 cuts, unless you’re talking dry 2x4’s.
