Perfect so far
I have two 36v golf carts that had 4yr old batteries that all needed replacing. I purchased two of these lithium batteries in May and so far they’ve been great. I was a little concerned about how long the 100ah would last but they actually run longer than the lead acid ever did. The price is much better than lead acid and I think it took about 300lbs off of each cart. Very straightforward install and the quality seems good as well. The carts get used nearly every day at a marina and I’ve never dropped below 40% or noticed any difference in power. Both carts seem a little faster and easier to maneuver which is probably due to the big weight difference. The charge rate is also much better than the old batteries (about 3 to 3 1/2hrs from 50%) I just mounted the chargers beside the battery under the seat and run an extension cord to them, which is much nicer than dragging the old heavy buzz box around. The display is also very informative and shuts down automatically after about 5 minutes if the cart is not being used. Time will tell how long these last but so far I’m very satisfied with these and will never go back to lead acid.

This battery, so far, has met my expectations!
This review is for the Newtipower 36v 100Ah golf cart battery. Since owning my 36 volt golf cart I have been through two sets of lead acid batteries. I felt now was the time to switch to a lithium battery. I tried to contact Newtipower about their higher 133, 166 and 300 Amp-hour capacity, 36 volt batteries golf cart batteries. However, they have no customer support phone number. As a result of only brief email communications, I was left with trying the 36v 100Ah lithium battery for now. This battery came with a 15% stand-by charge so it took 5-1/2 hours to charge up to 100% SOC. The battery charger that comes with the new battery works very well. It cycles off automatically when the battery is fully charged. The touch screen monitor control panel is also very helpful with displaying many aspects of the real time status of the battery. As a result of installing this Newtipower Lithium battery, the golf cart now runs very well when fully charged. It appears that this 36v 100Ah lithium battery has met my expectations of improved capacity over the equivalent lead acid deep cycle batteries. The six batteries I removed collectively weighed 390 lbs. This lithium battery weighs only 58 lbs. So being 332 lbs less of static weight, this golf cart is much more responsive when accelerating and stopping. The following are areas where Newtipower where can improve. 1-The user manual is not technically detailed. It is more a marketing sales brochure of all the battery products they sell. 2-There is a link to download the Bluetooth battery app for your iPhone. However, there are NO instructions or guidance for using the iPhone app. 3-I recommend that there be a much better troubleshooting document specific to this battery. Troubleshooting tips should not be vague and generic to ALL lithium batteries. 4-I would like to see details about best practices for proper lithium battery operations, charging and maintaining this lithium battery. 5-There needs to be instructions for using and configuring the display screens. 6-Newtipower needs a better customer/product support page. Otherwise, I am happy with this battery. I will post a follow up review in about six months.

Great Conversion Kit For Older EZ GO Golf Cart
I ordered this battery conversion kit on February 1st and received it on February 5th. Great service I think. I had watched YouTube videos about installation so pretty much had a good idea of how to do it. I have a 2003 EZGO TXT golf cart. When I received the battery I measured it and found that it fit perfectly in the existing easy go battery frame. The only thing I had to do was grind off the metal in the middle of the frame with the eyelet so that the battery would fit in the frame. The charger sent with the kit actually lined up with a couple of holes under the seat on the driver side and I was able to secure it there. The LED screen that came with the kit was easy to mount as a small metal frame was sent with it. I was able to mount it just under the cubby area on the driver side and fish the cord behind the cup holders and down along the bottom of the frame. I had also ordered a 110 charger port and a plate at the same time I ordered the conversion kit and was able to mount it easily after drilling out the rivets holding the existing charger port. I downloaded the mobile app and registered the battery and charger. I took a brief ride after installation was done and then connected for a complete charge. Everything was simple to do and not time-consuming at all. Update: I recently used my golf cart as a shuttle for a dance from 4:30 pm to 9:00 pm. I still had 50% of battery use left at the end of the night. Very pleased with power and how long it lasts.

Not a good battery.
This battery doesn’t hold a charge. Used an according to manual and not holding. Not sure if I just got a bad battery or what. Messaged seller for a replacement. Review may change depending on sellers response.

Excellent value for a solid product
So far so good, I’ve been out several times with this battery running my 36v trolling motor. It hold up very well and barely diminishes under the strain of heavy tidal current. The display that comes with it is easy to read. I use the Bluetooth app to easily check charge levels as well. Highly recommended.

Holds charge really well
Hold a charge really good. Not as heavy as it looks it was easy to install in the boat. I can use it for three days without recharging it. Use it for at least three hours a day holding the boat over a fishing spot.

Great product so far
I replaced the 6 6volt batteries in my golf cart with 3 of these. The 3 weigh about the same as 1 of the 6 volt acid batteries. Losing all that extra weight have increased the speed and it has a lot more power than before. After doing some research, people were saying to hook them up in parallel, but that will not give you the 36volts you need to run the golfcart. Must hook up in series. So far a great product.

Lots of bang for buck
Bought this battery on sale for Prime day which made the cost less than replacing 4 of the 6 ailing 6 volt batteries in my EZ Go golf cart. The LiPo battery arrived quickly and was fully charged. There’s an LCD meter on top to check the voltage with the press of a button. This mode doest’t have the Bluetooth and app meter ability which I didn’t need for the the extra $100 or so. Acceleration is instant, smoother, and speed is much improved over the old 6 volt lead acid batteries. After riding around for a week and even using the headlights at night the charge has barely dropped from full. It can be charged with any charger that can handle LiPo charging. My cart is an older EZ Go and this battery won’t sit flat in the frame under the seat only because of the 2 steel tie down posts welded into the battery frame that was designed for multiple smaller batteries to sit between. So this larger battery sits a little lopsided and is secured with straps for now. Kind of hard to see the slight tilt angle in my photos but it seems secure enough after bouncing around the yard .
