Q: How much does the bag weigh?

It weighs less than a kilo; it does not register on my luggage scales, and as I am away on holiday, I can't access my kitchen scales. I can rally recommend this bag as a sturdy, well made article with strong zips. My son has been using his all through secondary school to carry textbooks, so huge weight every day, and still going strong after five years of use!

Yes, my daughter usually carries 2 or 3 a4 folders and textbooks for Sixth form college.

Yes, It can fit lots of them! This is by far the best quality school bag (and indeed the last bag) I have ever bought my kids, who are now using theirs at college. The construction is robust enough for the enormous weight of their textbooks and folders to not rip, give at the seams or for the zippers to fail. I wholeheartedly recommend these bags!
