Kids Soft Towel Hooded Robe Cotton Bathrobe for Girls 5-16 Years

Nice robe for the pool. It is thin but liked that so it can dry quicker.

I returned a fleece one and ordered this. It is much better quality and is as described towel terrycloth. Its thicker and I will be pleased to give this one to my granddaughter soon for her birthday. It does feel a bit like there is a residue on it from manufacturing so I definitely recommend washing it before wear. It does not have an odor or anything just a bit of a feel of something. I'm sure it's from the manufacturer and will wash out fine.

I bought robes for my twin teen girls. The other twin got a pink Terry robe. I thought that this would be like that one. My mistake. This one is scratchy to the touch if you have rough hands. If your child has sensory issues I’d suggest something different. My child doesn’t and she didn’t like the feel. Straight to the donate box it went.

Perfect fit for me

I returned this robe because my daughter couldn't stand the feeling of it against her skin. Its soft at first impression but then when you rub it over your skin (like you do when drying off) or wear it it feels grabby, rough, and static laden. It feels like microfiber but not a very nice microfiber. I even tried washing it to see if it helped and it didn't. It also picked up every bit of dog hair, dust, lint, and hair in a way that I have never seen a bathrobe or towel do.

I appreciate that these towels are 100% cotton—that’s always a plus when it comes to softness and natural feel. However, I was a bit disappointed with how thin they are. They don’t absorb much water, so I find myself needing to use more than one just to dry off properly. The quality of the cotton itself is nice, and they do feel gentle on the skin, but I really wish they were thicker and more absorbent. These might work fine for light use or as backup towels, but they’re not ideal if you’re expecting something plush or highly absorbent. Overall, decent for the price and material, but not quite what I was hoping for in terms of functionality.
