Men's Easy Reader Watch

It's a Timex. It wasn't as inexpensive as they used to be, but it works. In fact, I bought this same watch in the early 90s at a Target in the $10 +/- range. I could put it on a stand and read the dial from across the room. That watch outlasted several far more expensive watches and was never finicky. Swap the battery occasionally, avoid dropping it in the toilet, it was fine. So is this one. It got to the point that my "dressy" burnt nickel watch with matching face was impossible to read without enough light. It's called getting old. Anyway, this serves the daily use purpose. I can see it, don't have to worry about wasting a "good" watch and it's comfortable. I bought a couple of inexpensive leather bands in case I get tired of the stretchy links. Great, rugged all around watch when you need to know is what time it is. Does anybody really know? Well, maybe not, but this Timex does. Now - to address all the 1 stars regarding battery swap and bands - You know what kind of band you're getting, buy a different watch or band. If the band post breaks, get another one. If the battery dies it's $10 at Walmart for a swap. Do it yourself is all over YouTube. IF you can't get the back to seal, the "special tool" for non watchmakers is a pair of pliers and a thick wash cloth. Get a couple of folds between the crystal and the back and squeeze, because that "special tool" is no more than clamp head pliers with the head covered in rubber or silicone.

Great no-frills watch. Very easy to read dial. Includes date complication (no day of the week though). The only issue is with the metal band as my arm hair kept getting stuck in it and it hurts quite a bit. So I swapped it with 20mm black leather band and it looks even better. The best feature is the backlight which is activated by pushing the knob in, it is pretty bright and evenly spread throughout the dial. I would not wear it while diving or even swimming, but I did forget to take it off before showering couple times and it still works fine.

Love it! Works great, easy to read. Noting fancy, just a nice watch.

I like the indiglo feature, I can't see well without glasses at night but the indiglo feature alows me to see the time real well. The main issue is the cheap band that you cannot adjust. The description on Amazon and on Timex does not specify this omission. Luckly my old band is still looking ok and I will use it until it starts wearing. My last two watches have lasted over 5 years each.

Bought for my husband. This is an indigo and easy to read plus it looks great He has large wrists and it fits him perfectly! I would buy again.

It works great!!!

This was supposed to be a waterproof watch. It is not. I washed some blood off of it yesterday after having an accident and later that afternoon condensation was under the dial. Today more condensation. The watch was NOT left to sit in the water, it was merely rinsed off. It is a nice looking watch. The band probably will not fit a large wrist. It pinches mine. I like the indiglo and the easy to read numbers but needed the water resistance.

Timex quality. The strap is very large but easily modified to fit your wrist.

An excellent purchase for my senior husband. The numbers are clear and large. The watch face is uncluttered and it does light up in the dark. It is as promised.
