A good keybard, even for right handed users.
Finally! A keyboard with it's alpha keys in the right location. I'm not left handed, but always wondered, over the last 30 years, why the number pad was never moved to the left end of the keyboard when the mouse became available. I've always had to scootch to the left just to reach the alpha keys. Now, the keyboard is properly designed. Even though it was intended for lefties, and south-paws, it makes typing at a desk much more comfortable, even for us righties. At first, I thought the angled shape of the keys was going to be a problem, but it actually works just as well as square keys. My only gripe is the keys seem to grind against each other. Maybe that'll go away with use. Another gripe is the fact the keyboard is not internally lit. Bit disappointing, that is. I do like the fact the F, and J keys have a very noticeable tactile bump. Same for the 5 key on the number pad. The keys are well, and properly spaced, so a person with low vision, like my self, can easily feel the spacing of the keys. The keys don't click, or make tapping sounds, but you can still hear them enough to know you're typing. There is enough travel from full up, to pressed down position, you actually feel like you're typing, unlike with a modern laptop keyboard. I do miss the vintage keyboard sounds, and feel, though. Not the clicky key's, mind you, but the original keyboards, that made a tapping sound when typed on. Just me, being nostalgic for the C-64, and Amiga. LOL :)

Excellent even for right-handers!
I bought this keyboard because my desk set-up is such that a regular keyboard with the 10-key on the right doesn't quite fit right. I have more room on the left, so I thought - why not get a keyboard with the 10-key on the left, and then the rest of the keyboard will be centered. It totally works. If you're strictly right-handed, you will have to learn to 10-key with your left hand, but that's doable if you need the different layout to begin with. The keyboard itself is quite nice. Good keys, good responsiveness, plenty of features I haven't even begun to use. This is a WIRED keyboard, not wireless, so be aware of that. It didn't matter to me which it was, and I hadn't paid attention up front. The "Delete" key is in an odd spot as well. So the keyboard takes a bit of getting used to, but not too bad. Just stay flexible, and you'll really enjoy it.

Need to swap lower keys on num pad
It’s a great keyboard, and at a phenomenal price! My only critique is about the numeric pad on the left. I like the fact that they flipped the top row and moved the enter, plus, and minus keys to the left (outside edge). The brain works well with using it as a mirror image (except for keys 1 - 9, but keeping then in order left to right seems more natural and is ok). This arrangement feels like a natural usage with the switch to the left hand. Inexplicably, however, the positions of the lower keys (zero and decimal) were NOT switched. Thus, some of the keys work with your brain thinking it’s a mirror image, while these two keys require the use of different fingers and it is extremely awkward. It would have been much better if the keys in the lower row were switched like the ones on the top and outside. Otherwise, again, best keyboard you can buy, especially for the price (the next cheapest left handed keyboard I could find anywhere was about $120!).

Excellent keyboard
I am right handed, but I was tired of having the number pad between my hand and the mouse, so after much searching online for a keyboard without the number pad I eventually found this keyboard and bought it. It's fantastic, what a relief to finally be able to use my mouse in a comfortable position after 15 years of computer use! The slanted keys are also very nice, I worried that they'd be difficult to type on but they actually make it slightly more comfortable for me to type. My only complaint with the keyboard is that it has extra space on the bottom and on the top for the extra buttons and I'd like to to be more compact, but that is something you can see in the product pictures and know about before you buy it. :)

Not too great!
I'm left-handed with a right hand that is not fully functional as I almost lost it in an accident years ago. I should not have bought this keyboard as it designed for two-handed typing, not one. I do most of my typing with my left. My right hand just types the enter key the back key, not much else. This keyboard is not designed for single-handed typing and is not good for me. If I used both hands for typing and my being left-handed, then my only complaint would be that the keys are too shiny, the keys emit too much glare, and I can't read the letters and numbers at times that I need to, quite bothersome. I have purchased another left-hander's keyboard that I know is pretty good and hope to sell this one as it is not too bad a keyboard. I'm sure some left-handed typists would find this keyboard to be great. Thanks for reading.

Great keyboard for left- or right-handed people!
I am left-handed and I'm always looking for ways to make my life easier in this right-handed world. I purchased this keyboard in 2018 and I have never regretted it. I do think the "0" and "." keys should be switched on the number pad but I've gotten used to it and it isn't an issue any more. I hate that I went so many years without this keyboard! The reviewers that say the keys are loud are not wrong, they are loud but it doesn't bother me and no one in my office has commented that they were too loud. My new puppy chewed through the cord this weekend so I'm here purchasing a new one because I refuse to work many days without it.

glad i purchased this
i needed a new keyboard and i got this one because the number pad is on the left side instead of the right side. it makes no sense ergonomically to have the number pad on the right side so you have to reach past it whenever you use the mouse. my neck and wrists are feeling much better without have to reach over to my mouse pad. keys had comfortable grooves to help me type quickly and have raised bumps on the f and j keys to easily find my place when i lift my hands from the keyboard. it has been a great purchase and because it is wired, it does not have any issues associated with wireless keyboards. customer service was easy to reach when i had questions. i recommend this keyboard.

I love the keypad on the left.
I LOVE this keyboard and it is very unusual. When I realized that due to the mouse and the keypad being on the right, I was reaching to the left to type every day I decided that had to change. I need the typing to be done in the middle. I am actually right handed, but I love having the keypad on the left so both my hands can work at the same time. I recently had to do some work on my laptop and realized that I use the numbers and the enter key on the left side all the time so I don't have to remove my right hand from the mouse as frequently. It works so well when I am working in spreadsheets to enter numbers and then use the mouse to click the next cell I need. I really like the slight slant of the keys as well. The slanted ergo keyboards are too much for me, but this one is very natural. I have had this keyboard for more than 10 years and it has moved jobs with me. I just bought another one to keep at home since I will probably be doing more work from home in the near future.

Great Keyboard
I suffered an injury to my right elbow and was having a very hard time healing. My OH&S officer at work suggested that I try this keyboard so that numeric pad was on the left thus alleviating added strain to mouse on the right. It actually has helped a great deal. I'm very happy with it. I'm petite as well and it's nice little compact keyboard. Very quiet keys as well.

Should have bought it years ago
Due to not having a fully functional right hand the left handed keyboard is absolutely fantastic and full fills my needs in the office

Great alternative keyboard for "not-left-handed"
It's called "Left Handed keyboard", though if you think about it, it is more for Right handed people, since the mouse is on the right (and I believe the manufacturer - a4tech - doesn't call it left handed keyboard, just describes it to have "left-handed numeric pad"). This keyboard layout makes more balanced and symmetrical use - instead of having mouse far away on the right, because of the special and numpad keys, you can bring your mouse closer, while keeping the keyboard centred in front of you, making it much more comfortable and removes excessive stress on just one side of the body. This helped me to remove back pain I had with normal keyboard due extensive office work. Another point I could bring is that you exercise your left hand for increased dexterity and prevention (or slowing progress of) dementia, Alzheimer's and the like, that could occur later in life (I believe there was some kind of study about more using non-dominant hand more helps against these). The A shape key layout is a bit difficult to get used to - first 2 weeks I was incapable of writing at my normal tempo, but it was well worth the effort.
