What a stunning beautiful and timeless book to inspire a reconnection to nature and the outdoors. I'm not a hiker, kayaker or mountaineer, but after sitting down with this book it inspires me to start! The beauty of the photography perfectly captures the serenity and wildness of the open landscape and the people shown in this landscape bring a humility to the human race in the face of such majesty. Great. Wide. Open,
Hier kommt man einfach nur ins träumen. Das ist man aber natürlich von den Werken des gestalten Verlags auch schon ein wenig gewohnt. ;-) Aber lassen wir uns nicht alle hin und wieder gerne verwöhnen. Eben - darum macht es einfach Spass dieses Werk in seinen Händen zu haben und sich in die weite Natur entführen zu lassen.

Les promesses ne sont pas tout à fait tenues; Certaines photos souffrent de l’agrandissement, la qualité n'y est pas. Les légendes dans les photos sont gênantes. Les photos sont spectaculaires, mais il manque un je-ne-sais-quoi qui les rendrait inoubliables... de la poésie? Pourtant quels beaux endroits!!! Avis mitigé, donc, et une vraie déception!

Tolle Fotos zum Träumen, Qualität könnte teilweise besser sein
Die Fotos sind zum Größtenteil wirklich toll und man kann sie stundenlang genüsslich ansehen, jedoch merkt man bei manchen Fotos, dass sie von sehr schlechter Qualität sind und man einzelne Pixel erkennen kann. Wir sind trotzdem zufrieden.
