A perfect toy for tummy time! We also used it attached to the wall with Blu Tack next to the changing mat. My baby absolutely loves looking at himself in the mirror! It’s a lovely way to keep him entertained and encourage him to lift his head and engage during tummy time. It has been used every day for months and it is still in great condition. Overall we are very happy with the purchase.

I was still pregnant when I got this and I wasn't sure which black and white 'book' or 'fabric book' to get because this baby is my first and I didn't know what to expect. All black and white fabric books have some sort of bad reviews saying they don't fold properly or don't stand on their own... So it took me a while to decide. It turns out this was brilliant when my baby was a newborn! I used this every day for the first month or so and it didn't matter that it didn't stand on its own like in the picture because my baby wasn't doing long tummy time yet so I could just hold it and show him the images. I would also just put it against the side of his next-to-me crib for a few minutes under supervision and my baby would look at the pictures in his cute sleepy way of the early days. The fact that it's soft and well sewn was actually much more important than it standing on its own or folding flat. In this regard, it's rather good value for money. The picture of the item shows a baby on all fours, and in a way when baby can do that, he won't be that interested in black and white fabric books like this one anymore (or at least my baby wasn't). I'd say this is appropriate for newborns up to 1 or 2 months of age, maximum 3 months of age. After that they probably need something more stimulating and more interesting. So don't worry too much about it not folding or not staying up in place on its own. Other than that, it's easy to carry around if you want to have it in your changing bag because it's soft. As a newborn my baby was definitely looking at it and I liked telling him the names of the pictures to feel like I was already teaching him some words. The pictures are well chosen from an educational point of vue. When my baby started touching things, he interacted with this and 'played' with it by grabbing it and flipping it. But yeah, it's not very fun to play with past a few months of age and in my experience it stops being useful for tummy time quite quickly.

Bought this one for my grandson, same as the one he has at home. He likes looking at it for tummy time and I'm sure once he can hold his head up more he'll love it even more Quick delivery too

Wanted this to be a little bit stiffer then what it was. So not as sturdy as I would like. But nice and soft and cute. My little one still likes to play with it.

This was one of the first “toys” bought for my daughter. She still uses it until now. We have hung it up on her playpen and she reaches for the ladybug a lot.
