For the price, I was pleasantly surprised by how well they performed. Can it be used for other pets? Yes. While they're marketed for reptiles, these can be useful for a variety of species that require environmental monitoring, including amphibians, invertebrates, small mammals, incubators, and even plant terrariums. Does it come with batteries? Mine arrived ready to use with batteries included, which made setup quick and convenient. Is it easy to install? Yes. Installation was simple. The adhesive backing allowed me to place the unit inside the enclosure without any complicated setup. Within minutes, I was able to start monitoring both temperature and humidity levels. The display is clear and easy to read, even from a short distance. I appreciate that it provides both humidity and temperature readings on one screen, making it easy to monitor enclosure conditions at a glance. For such a compact unit, the readings updated quickly and seemed consistent. While I would still rely on more advanced equipment for highly specialized breeding projects or critical incubation setups, these are more than adequate for routine habitat monitoring. After trying a different set of monitors, I ended up switching to these and immediately noticed they were much more accurate and consistent in their readings. The other brand I used would have display issues or give inconsistent numbers, but these have stayed stable and reliable. They’re also really compact, which makes them easy to place anywhere without cluttering up the space. I like that I can move them around the house, barn areas, or different rooms without them feeling bulky or in the way. I also mainly use them for my reptile enclosures. Setup was straightforward, they come on and ready to read, and they’ve been easy to check at a glance so that makes them very versatile. For something I rely on regularly, that simplicity matters a lot. They have also never run out of battery since i've had them! The only downside is sometimes they have a little glare if they are on a certain angle or a light is shining on them. Honestly, for the price on Amazon, they’re a much better deal compared to what I’ve seen in stores locally where similar devices cost noticeably more for less reliability. Overall, I’d definitely recommend them if you want something accurate, space-saving, and convenient to use daily.

Both are still working and appear to be just fine. Nice to not have to go to the pet store and pay way too much.

Good when it works. It adheres well and has good update time to monitor changes. Bad news is they sometimes don’t function, one worked great and the other is completely frozen.

So far, it's working fantastically! For coming with two thermometers and batteries, it was a fantastic price. Also comes with a strong gel to stick it on–it was a bit difficult to take off the sticker, but it shows how reliable it is. Just two dots and it was mounted securely with no worries of any dislodging. Overall, it's simple, but it does job well! It makes life a bit easier instead of making assumptions and hoping for the best. For an added bonus, I installed it and left the house for a while to see a show, and I come back to find one of my little guys sleeping on top of it. Approved by both parties!

have received these today I bought them for my two crested geckos after reading reviews that states they are accurate I thought to put them to the test they have been in the same room side by side to each other and each of them shows a slight difference how when they are literally side by side and touching.picture is attached....but for the most part isn't so far off of each other so it still will give me a better clue of the temps in my gecko cages being they had nothing when I rescued them so for that slight issue I gave 3 stars and they also came already on they have no buttons on them to turn on or off so means battery was drying during delivery (which ain't a big issue but counts for alittle) but definitely does what could expected for the price n still will help with the reptile cages ALSO almost forgot THEY HAVE NO ADHESIVES WHATSOEVER so be sure to buy some .

So much more accurate than even petcos! It's smaller (still easy to read) but it can fit just about anywhere!

What can I say? They are perfect for our snake enclosure. It was very helpful for when our corn snake was shedding since they need higher humidity. We didn't stick them to the glass yet untill we ate sure where we want to place them. Photo is of checking the basking temperature.
