I was looking for a commercial freezer to purchase for my restaurant and I came across West Lake freezer in June of 2024. The delivery was on time, packaging was undamaged, and it came to a freezing temperature in a short period of time. My absolute favorite part is that it has a massive storage space inside and it maintains the perfect temperature for meats and vegetables. I also want to emphasize that the service is absolutely outstanding. I came across their valuable representative, Phillip, whom I owe gratitude and appreciation to for making my experience marvelous and making me feel as if I am their only customer. I will be back to purchase from here as long as my restaurant is in good hands with Westlake!! August of 2024, I came back to purchase two more freezers for my restaurant because I was astonished by the service and quality of the product. My restaurant now has three Westlake freezers standing near one another and I couldn’t have been more thrilled with my orders! December of 2024, I needed a commercial refrigerator for my house and I couldn’t have chosen a different route to go. Because of my pleasant experience with Philip, I came back to purchase a refrigerator and how can I even begin to appreciate his time and effort on my order. The refrigerator features 6 shelves and each shelf has a loading capacity of up to 155 lbs, so you can store plenty of products especially if you have a big family like mine. If only there was a way for me to rate above 5 stars, I would have. Do yourself a favor and order your freezers from Westlake if you want perfectly working freezers and representatives waiting to serve you on your door.

For the first full year, both units performed perfectly with zero issues. After one year, one freezer developed a minor switch-related issue. What really impressed me was how professional and responsive the company was. Westlake immediately: • Diagnosed the issue • Sent the required replacement part • Dispatched a qualified technician • Fully resolved the problem without delays The freezer was fixed properly, and their support team stayed in contact throughout the process to make sure everything was running smoothly. It’s rare to find a company that not only sells quality equipment but also stands behind their product after the sale. Based on my experience, I can confidently say Westlake values their customers and provides excellent after-sales service. I highly recommend Westlake to anyone looking for reliable commercial freezers and strong customer support.

We've been using the freezer for over a month now and it is working great. Shelves were easy to install and adjust. It was a little bit of a challenge to get it off the pallet and into the house, but we expected that. They are very clear about the delivery, make sure you are prepared for bringing it into the house/business yourself. Since we are residential, and don't have a loading dock (lol) that presented challenges. Our delivery driver went over and above what we expected and got the pallet very close to our lanai entrance. The casters are high quality, and we love the locking mechanism to keep it in place once moved.

Holds temperature great in the line of fire where the heat is

I purchased the refrigerator and the freezer back in April "I'm impressed with my Westlake commercial freezer! It's been a reliable addition to my business, keeping my products frozen and fresh. The build quality is solid, and it's easy to clean and maintain. I've had no issues with temperature control or noise level. It's exactly what I needed for my daily operations. But what really sets Westlake apart is their technical support - it's amazing! They're quick to respond and super helpful, which gives me peace of mind knowing I'm covered if anything goes wrong. Highly recommend!"

Arrived much quicker than Amazon estimate. Delivered via truck so basically gets dropped at curb plan to have help if need to bring it in and set it up. Note delivery company can not assist. I had help on hand due to its final location. I was concerned about damage so anxious to inspect it. This thing was exceptionally well packaged and was in perfect condition. I had some questions prior to purchase and about its operation and contacted the company which provided outstanding support. The machine is way more solid than a typical residential unit and as an HVAC professional much easier to maintain or repair which was a big factor in the purchase. Things to consider. It is louder than a typical unit especially when both systems are running comparable to a typical dishwasher. Also although it has an interior light the internal finish is a metallic silver and doesn’t reflect the light the same as the white plastic typically found on refrigerators. The overall I would say Westlake deserves better than a 5 star review and would definitely purchase again.

We turned this freezer on for the first time in November of 2025, and since then it's stopped freezing for no apparent reason twice. Troubleshooting advice from the manufacturer did not result in any fixes. Instead of being at 0 degrees or lower, it stays at 15-22, which is unsuitable for a restaurant. Will update the review after we have a tech come out to look at it (cost out of pocket). I don't recommend this product, but if you do get it, buy the extended warranty plan because you'll likely need it.

I needed an additional freezer, but i was disappointed with this one because i felt it was much smaller than i hoped for. Also, if you need a minute to find what you're looking for in this freezer a loud sound goes off and makes you so nervous to quickly shut the door !
