Great Product! Great workhorse!
This is a great product that is sold on Amazon. I like it so much - that I've purchased 4 of them already (2 for our own use, and 2 for gifts). After reading the reviews, it can be confusing and overwhelming. Most like or love it. Some don't. Don't buy this if you are planning on using it for some unrealistic purpose, or trying to move huge pieces of furniture or appliances. It's not designed or made for that. I'm afraid that a lot of people who would find this tool useful, may get turned off from getting something that would help them a lot, by reading the negative reviews. This is a sturdy, well made tool that has many uses around the home. We just recently moved. I don't know how we would have ever done it without the Lifter. It was so useful, that we bought a second one to help us even more. It works great as a cart, and impromptu dolly. The dolly can move some heavier items- short distances. (For those who need more than that, go and by a regular dolly.) It's not perfect by any means, but if you wear down the wheels, (maybe you're hauling too heavy of a load), use the suggestion to put other wheels on it. If you find yourself pinching your fingers, take the time to learn how to fold and adjust it. Pretty simple. Right now, we are keeping one in the car for when we go shopping and need to transport something too big for the car. The other is sitting in the garage with a fold up crate we got at Costco, for loading shopping bags and groceries into, or for helping with the unpacking process. ( It makes unloading a shopping trip into the house, a breeze.) Our new home is all on one level so it works great moving boxes around the house too. It has a small footprint when folded, and fits nicely into a trunk or back end of an SUV. It's strong, but lightweight. Once you learn how to open it and use it, it is only a few seconds set it up. The Lifter is a godsend to those who have physical limitations, or mobility issues. I currently do - and it was what helped me through our move. We gave two of these away as gifts - every time they use it- they comment to us on how great they are, or how much they helped them out. So be realistic- think it through on how you will use it. It's priced right and should last a long time.

Easily in my car trunk
The COSCO Shifter arrived promptly and was really easy to start using — no tools or complicated setup needed. I love how it switches from a two-wheel upright hand truck to a four-wheel cart in just seconds, which makes hauling boxes, groceries, or other heavy items a lot simpler. It’s surprisingly sturdy and is rated to hold up to 300 lb, so I’ve used it for moving heavy boxes and even small furniture without issues. When I’m done, it folds flat and fits easily in my car trunk or garage, which is great for storage and transport. Overall — very good value for what you get.

Great in all aspects, but not for tall people.
The product is great. Its very sturdy and light for what it is. Folds intuitively and nicely. However, the handle it too short for me. Im 5’10” and i have to slightly bend to push/ pull it and its uncomfortable. I had somebody shorter try it and it was perfect for them.

Best cart ever!
This is my second cart! I’ve had this model for many years and ended up giving my first one to an elderly friend. I searched everywhere for this exact model and was beyond pleased to finally find it again. This cart is truly a lifesaver if you have mobility issues. The only thing to note is that it folds very quickly, but if you use a broomstick or something similar to guide it, it’s totally manageable. I honestly consider this cart essential. I keep it in my car and use it to roll groceries right up to the house, and it’s also incredibly helpful when moving. It’s durable, reliable, and built to last a long time.

THIS CART IS INDESTRUCTIBLE. BUY IT IMMEDIATELY
I'm pretty much in agreement with everyone else here. This cart is sturdy, works great as a cart and dolly, and is much lighter than most folding carts you find. That being said, REMEMBER THE FOLLOWING: - As you fold this flat, back into storage position, KEEP YOUR FINGERS AWAY FROM THE LARGE WHEELS. They have springs on them, and snap violently back into place. - The tiny front wheels are too tiny, and are made of cheap plastic. (I spent $22 at Home Depot for a replacement set.) -- Update: THIS CART IS INDESTRUCTIBLE. BUY IT IMMEDIATELY. The past few days' events require me to make an update here. First, I reduce this product to 4 stars. I mean, how hard should it be to remove a wheel? Just hold the outer part with a large spiral wrench and use a smaller spiral wrench to loosen the nut. The first wheel came off just like that. Easy as pie. The second wheel... well, that was where things got interesting. The nut was on so tight that the inner part of the wheel separated from the outer part, which I was holding in place with my wrench. It made no difference how I turned the nut: fast, slow, whatever. I tried using Loctite super glue and later E6000 to hold the parts together. I let them set for 24 hours. When I turned the wheel again, they broke immediately. At this point I was pretty disappointed in the product. It came with front wheels that left something to be desired, but were also impossible to change. Booo. 4 stars, maybe even 3. Eventually, I took it in to a hardware store. It was the events here that convinced me to restore my 5-star rating. The first guy who tried to help was young-ish, maybe in his late 20s. I had brought in my two wrenches, so he tried the same as I did: Hold it with the larger, turn the nut with the smaller. He came to the same conclusion, and ended up deciding to use a handheld bolt-cutting saw. After 5 minutes of labor, he was ready to give up. It was at that moment that a slightly older guy came by, maybe in his early 40s. He told the young guy to quit it with the handheld saw and tried himself with the two wrenches. He gave up quickly and went to get a screwdriver. He wedged the screwdriver in between the parts that were slipping and turned the bolt with the wrench and voila! the screwdriver slipped immediately. He tried 3, 4, 5 times with different positions, all with the same result. "Man, that bolt is really on there! Are you sure you want it off?" It was just then that a third guy came by. He took one look and said, "Why don't you just use a reciprocating saw? Cut right through the ball bearing." A reciprocating saw. That's what they had to use on this cart. One guy held the cart in place, another started up the saw, and the young guy stood there with a bottle of grease to lubricate the saw every few seconds. It was joyful madness. I had somehow secured the full, undivided attention of three full-time, professional hardware store workers with the problem if taking a wheel off this folding cart. The cart shook like an earthquake and the metal started smoking. After a few minutes, they stopped. "Look at that! Look at those ball bearings!" "They've barely got a scratch on them!" "What kind of wheel is this?" Needless to say, they gave up on cutting through the ball bearings. It was their fourth attempt that finally solved it: Forcing the blade of the reciprocating saw between the nut and washer, they cut straight down, removing the top piece of the bolt with the nut and washer. More smoke, more shaking, more noise. It was glorious. "Are you sure you wanted this wheel off? Never seen anything like it." In hindsight, maybe I made a mistake. Clearly, if these tiny front wheels were designed to withstand the combined efforts of three hardware workers for nearly half an hour, they can withstand just about anything life can throw at them. Congratulations on your purchase of this very fine product.

Fantastic quality and versatility
I cannot say enough good things about this product so I will list the basics first. 1) Quality of construction - from the more than ample sturdy frame to the bearings on the wheels and how easily it rolls everything about this product exceeds expectations. 2) Ease of folding and and portability - compact design makes it easy to store in the back of a closet of even in the back seat of a car if transporting something where it's needed. When folded can easily be lifted with one hand. 3) Useful in either the cart/dolly configuration or the hand truck configuration. I live in a high rise condo and have already had the need to use this multiple times with bringing in large boxes that are cumbersome to carry to moving heavier loads of large house plants with heavy planters of so far up to 200 lbs easily. Everyone should have one of these on hand and you will never worry about something being too heavy to carry again. I have had multiple neighbors ask to borrow it already,

Great product!!!!
Omg I cannot tell how much effort and time this saved!! Very sturdy. I loaded a huge bookshelf on it even and it didn’t waiver. Only thing is it is a bit narrow but worked perfectly for me moving daughter in the dorm and son, two times! Love that it converts to a flat cart and I stacked multiple boxes on it to pull. I had previously bought a different one and returned it because it was to flimsy but this one is great!! And that it flips down and stores flat is awesome too.

Happy with the quality
Sturdy and well built. Much more versatile than a regular hand cart since it can be used flat on 4 wheels. This is great for larger and bulky boxes that don't sit on a hand cart. Folds nicely for storage.
