Good Product to Safely Store Double-Edge Razor Blades For Recycling
This product is probably made in China and then private labeled under a few names, like Rockwell and Qshave, or maybe no name at all. I've seen other DIY options, like cutting a hole in the top of a vitamin bottle or something similar. I even saw something on Etsy that was 3-D printed that looks like a koozie that you slip over a beer or Coke can. This product is compact, so I just keep it on a shelf in our medicine cabinet. It's inexpensive, does the job, and looks OK. You CAN take the bottom off to transfer blades to something else to recycle or it says you can just throw it in the recycle bin and get another. If you're going to toss it I would tape it up first, as the bottom can easily be removed.

Functional and Completely Recyclable
I am on my second Rockwell Blade Bank. Instead of continuing to fill up landfills with disposable razor blades, I decided to go with a safety razor. They use old school double edge stainless steel blades. The blades cost very little compared to disposable blades and give a better shave. Everything from the razor to the blades can be recycled. Using a metal blade bank, like the Rockwell, you drop your used blades in the bank to keep them safe and secure from cutting anything or anyone. When the bank is full, you drop the entire bank and the contained blades into recycling. The Rockwell Blade Bank is stylishly designed and functional. I like the style over the competitors.

Works as expected
Cool metal used blade holder. To remove the bottom, just pull it off, just be careful, I use a piece of tape to keep blades from coming out the top slot when I turn it upside down to pull off the bottom.

Great blade bank and reusable
Can’t beat this blade bank for the price. And it’s reusable which reduces even more waste. Blades never fall out when turned upside down either.

Functional and small enough for a medicine cabinet
It works it’s cheaply made. They delivered it with no cushioning so it got beat up in shipping. Had to bend the edges of the opening on the bottom for it to seat correctly but the plus side is I can hide it away in my medicine cabinet it’s small enough. I would not do what they suggest and just throw it away and buy another one for the 5 dollar price tag though. I would honestly just up the bottom cap and dump this into a coffee can of some sort and throw it away like that. I wish I knew if these were getting recycled or not though. My neighborhood doesn’t seem to have a recycling bin. I’ll dump these into a bigger metal coffee can and save them up for a big purge at some point in time.

Wonderful little blade bank; will order another when the time comes!
I spent a WHILE looking for a metal blade bank that would break my money bank, so I was delighted when I found this guy for about $5. It looks great sitting on my counter, and, best of all, the whole thing can go into recycling when it’s all full. I’ve got about 15-20 blades in it at the moment and see no signs of it filling up within the next year at my current rate of use (about 1 blade every 10 days/2 uses to shave my legs). Shipping was prompt even though it wasn’t prime, and the bank is well made. Give it a go. You won’t be disappointed.

Inexpensive and doesn't look bad on the counter
This review is for Rockwell Razors Blade Bank - Safety Razor Blade Disposal Case, Recyclable, BlackI used to use a tin case for my old blades, but after having it dump on the floor I decided to upgrade to this razor bank. It will hold DE, 1/2 DE and the long Dovo shavette blades. It looks nice, is inexpensive and disposable. It is hit the floor at least twice and showed no damage nor did any of hte blades make their way outside the bank. Good value (great company), will buy again if I ever fill it up and need another.

Exactly as Advertised
I switched to a single blade razor after my son switched and has been getting a super close shave. I needed a container to put the used blades in so I bought the Rockwell Blade Bank and it works perfectly. It is so stylish that I just leave it on the sink next to the razor and it looks great and stores the used blades effectively. I highly recommend!
