The Gellen Gel Nail Polish Remover Kit definitely does what it says—it takes the gel polish off without too much hassle. It worked for me, but I want to mention that when the product touched my skin, it made my fingers tingle and feel kind of weird, almost like a cramp in my hand. Nothing serious, but definitely uncomfortable. As far as removal goes, it didn’t come off in the 3–5 minutes advertised. For me, it took closer to 25–30 minutes to fully get everything off. Still, it did remove the polish, and it’s a lot easier than scraping forever with a file or soaking in acetone forever. Overall, I gave it 4 stars because it works, but the tingling sensation and longer removal time keep it from being a perfect 5 for me.

I was on another shopping website and heard about this. They always take a week to get here and I wanted it sooner so I checked here. Wow. This is the coolest stuff! You don't need to spend hours filing your nails down to nothing! And soaking only works with PURE acetone and at the salon it seems. But this stuff was great. I'm really glad I got the 2 piece set with the latex protection. Yes you might need to add a layer or two but who cares? It's so much easier than filing! And so much faster! Thank you so much for this! I wish it was made sooner like 30 years ago! I think this works great and I'm so glad I tried it!

The silicone skin barrier works really well and is fun to peel off. The remover is absolutely useless. It removes a very fine layer at a time so unless you have multiple hours free to remove toenail polish don’t buy this kit for the remover.

I get gel manicures and I don't like to get the polish filed off or to wait for acetone and foil to work. I will say that I ask for my manicure to be thin as opposed to layers and layers so the fact that this works so well could be related. I scuffed the top coat, applied the latex tape and a thick coat of the remover and within minutes the polish was gone. Amazing!!
