I’ve been using the Amonax 20kg/30kg Cast Iron Adjustable Dumbbells for a few weeks now, and I’m thoroughly impressed. This set has been a fantastic addition to my home gym, offering great versatility for a range of strength training exercises. The quality of the cast iron is top-notch. They can sometimes become loose, requiring me to stop and tighten them. Overall, they are great to have, as they are durable, easy to use, and offer good value for money.

I purchased the weights as a birthday present but was disappointed when they didn't turn up on time Amonax was NOT responsible for the delay , l contacted them and after several messages over the period of a week we managed to resolve the issue, l want to think the company for their patience and resolve. The weights were as advertised well boxed and with a user manual , it was value for the money l paid , l recommend the company , any company that was willing to go beyond expectation to help me out with the problem l faced has my admiration .

The box was well packaged, shown in some of the photos and was delivered quickly though I do wish that it had come in an unmarked box. The box came with 4x2.5kg, 4x1.25kg and 4x0.5kg, two dumbbell bar things, one connector and 4 weight stoppers. Everything seems in good quality in build and finish. However, the weight stoppers do have imperfections how ever this doesn’t affect the it’s purpose and still keeps the weights on sturdily, the connector bar also is scratched but is overall ok. The grip also feels quite nice and everything fits well together though I have no use to use the connecting bar. I really like finish on the weights it not only looks cool but feels decent and there is no smell on mine. I also like that the weights are fairly small and low profile the biggest weights are smaller than my had ( I have small hands for men and above average for women’s) but also keep in mind that this is my fist set of weights so I have nothing to compare too. BIG BAD THING: I personally don’t mind but the weights do not weigh what they are marked as (only by a few hundred grams each) but as these are my first weights I don’t mind I just want to build a bit of muscle but some people might that’s why I’ve highlighted it. However the weight of the bars and stoppers make up for the weight lost I believe. Also the weight grouping of the weights are close so it could just be my scales. As it’s costs £80 I am a bit disappointed that’s why 4 stars only. The weights weigh: 16.236kg or 16236g The connectors and bars weigh: 3.579kg or 3589g So totally it weighs 19.825kg or 19825g So overall it’s really close and considering the connector which not everyone will use weighs about 700grams it’s only about 1kg off which I’m fine with.😊 I can’t upload as many photos ( I did one for each separate weight) so I uploaded one per weight but I weighed everything right and all the weights where within 100grams of the marked weight. The 2.5kg measure 14.5cm length and 2.5cm depth The 1.25kg measure 12cm length and 2cm depth The 0.5kg measure 9cm length and 1.5cm depth So there surprisingly small which is good 👍

Solid and sturdy kit, feels and looks high quality except a minor issue I had with silver flake peeling off of the locking nuts. 5 stars despite this due to impressive customer support. They responded within 1 working hour and within 6 working hours a resolution was reached where the faulty parts were dispatched and I was issued a considerable refund. Will use this brand in future!

It does what it says and the weights are good

Very nice set, good weight range, the bar, when assembled, seems to be secure and safe to use. Bought by my husband (74) to help with his ongoing fitness program.

Excellent set of weights, very well made, robust and don’t come loose. Customer service is first class as well, highly recommended.

Les haltères sont de bonne qualité et les manches comportent des poignées avec un bon 'grip', faisant qu'ils ne glissent pas avec la pratique (et la transpiration). Je regrette cependant que la peinture noire de protection des poids s'écaille déjà sur certains de ces poids, notamment à l'endroit de la sécurisation avec la roue crantée de serrage.

Tutto disposto in modo ordinato, compatto e sicuro. Essendo i pesi in ghisa, essi occupano meno spazio, cosa utilissima per svolgere gli esercizi, a differenza dei pesi in plastica e sabbia che comprai anni fa su un sito. Inoltre l'estetica della ghisa trasmette assolutamente buona fattura. Tutto approvato al top!
