My Favorite of them all!
I love all of Rinas books! Seriously, there isn't one I don't love, but Xan and Green are just it for me!! This is the most beautiful story. It's so unique and the plot twist came out of nowhere! I would have never had guessed!! It is fantastic!

Love. Love Loved this
Wow. Just wow. I love Kim and Xan so much. I was rooting for them the whole time. I was so happy to see them rekindle their relationship after everything they've been through. I loved seeing Kimberly get back to who she was and I loved seeing Xan build her back up!

Rina Kent does it again!!!
I read the Legacy of Gods series by Rina Kent first and I absolutely loved it! I fell in love with the characters in every book. So when I found out the there was a series about the parents and how they all came to be, I knew I had to have them. Rina did NOT disappoint!! I love Xander and Kimberly! I love their story and how they both got their happy ending!

My heart broke, but I loved it
This one had me crying, and when I say crying I mean CRYING. Is it partially due to my own triggers? Yeah. It was. But that doesn’t mean it wasn’t a super emotional book regardless. It was a bully romance just like the previous books, but the FMC struggles with some mental health issues that were discussed in previous books. It was just the way it was written in this book that made the difference. It really ripped my heart to shreds. This book definitely had a little touch of the taboo for a little bit, which for me wasn’t an issue because Ive read plenty of dark taboo romances. BUT between that, and the other trigger that had me crying I highly recommended checking the TWs if you are not someone who regularly reads VERY DARK, and Taboo romances. This one did start a little on the slower side, I honestly thought it might end up being a 4 star. Instead the book took off, and never stopped. Exceeding my expectations. This Dark Romance is book 4 in the Royal Elite series. This is a dark romance which means it is filled with dark content. Check all your trigger warnings before reading. The romance in this book is a frenemies to lovers. The book is spicy, and the spice is descriptive. The book moves at a steadier pace with Xander doing everything in his power to make Kim hate him. Kim was once Xanders best friend, now she is his nothing. Kim hides herself from everyone, but she can never hide herself from him. This was an emotional, and shockingly addictive read.

This could have been 5 stars, but.
4-4.5 stars. I adored this Kimberly . The trauma was handled with care. I look forward to more from this writer for sure. The only downfall of this book was Xander, he was so very mean and his hate was misplaced and written poorly, I say that because if I ever did a reread 1/2 of the book would not be re-read it’s not worth re-visiting ,the meaning reason, was stupid. .

Beautifully dark
I was NOT prepared for the emotional rollercoaster that is Black Night. This book was dark, but so beautifully written. Rina Kent captured everything so completely, I sobbed during Kim's darkest moments. It's poetic that Kim's story is about being totally shattered and then slowly put back together as that's what R. Kent does to the reader. It was intense, and was made even better (or worse?) by the AMAZING audio performance by Shane East and Keira Stevens.
