INM Out the Door Top Coat Nail Polish, 2.3 Ounce

If you are doing your own manicures and pedicures at home, this top coat is an absolute must-have. I used to see this exact bottle all the time at professional nail salons, and now I completely understand why they use it. The biggest win for me is that it dries incredibly fast without leaving any of those annoying little bubbles behind. A lot of quick-dry top coats have a super strong, overwhelming chemical odor, but this one doesn’t have that funny smell at all. It gives a perfectly smooth, glassy finish that makes a DIY manicure look professional. For the performance and the size of the bottle, it is definitely worth the price. I'll absolutely be keeping this in my routine.

This product is amazing. Does dry nails fairly quickly. I usually use a base coat, 2 to 3 layers of polish, a hardner, and then Out the Door. I have used this brand for years and would recommend. (Just don't fold hot laundry for several hours).

This is absolutely the best top cost I have tried especially when it comes to extending the life of a manicure. I have gone through two .5 ounce bottles of Out The Door, three .5 once bottles of Seche Vite, and numerous other top coats including Sally Hansen Hard As Wraps, Beauty Secrets top coat and Nutra Nail Mineral Rock Hardener. Nothing holds up better than Out The Door and I bake for a living (meaning I scrub a lot of pans every day.) It is a quick dry formula but it will not dry as fast as Seche Vite or have quite the smooth, super glossy finish you get from Seche. I find this a good trade-off for lasting power. I do my nails probably twice a week but it could last longer especially if you don't do a lot of nail damaging activities. When I use this top coat on my mom's manicures she can literally grow the polish halfway up her nail before it falls off because she works at a desk. I highly recommend this top coat if you need something that lasts. Some side notes, the brush that is included is very course and because of its length harder to keep under control, I have an old .5 ounce Out The door bottle I use to apply the top coat. I also prefer to thin it down a bit when transferring it to the smaller bottle (3 parts OTD to 1 part Nail Polish Thinner, NOT ACETONE!) I then do about 2 thick coats of OTD, I prefer to do it this way with most polishes, it seems to make for a much smoother result and application when working with thin coats as well as extending the life of the manicure by letting it dry between coats. This method is not for the impatient. I was a bit annoyed when I removed the packaging, the seller had wrapped the bottle in an adhesive strip of bubble wrap, which I am glad it was protected but when I peeled it off half of the printing on the bottle came off with it, now it already looks old and worn, hope there were no important warning labels I missed too.

Out the Door Top Coat is as close to magic as nail painting gets! Years ago, I relied on quick-dry sprays after polishing my nails, but once I tried this top coat, I never looked back. I use this stuff so often that I decided to go for the giant bottle—because, honestly, I’m such a huge fan. In my opinion, nothing comes close to its effectiveness. It dries to a gorgeous, strong shine and cuts my drying time by at least half, if not two-thirds. True to its name, it’s perfect for those last-minute polish jobs before heading out the door (yes, I’m that person, lol!). Just a quick tip: have your keys and purse ready beforehand! While it dries to the touch on top and resists minor taps, the polish underneath is still setting, so avoid rummaging in your bag right away. If you’re looking for a top coat that delivers a fast-drying, flawless finish, this is it. Truly amazing!

PROS: - quicker drying time at 20 minutes or so. Just be sure to let each layer dry for 10 minutes before using top coat. - thin formula which I like because I hate thick, goopy top coats. - the finish is nice and shiny though it isn't as glossy as some top coats I've used. - refills are available - there is a larger sized bottle for those of us who paint our nails often - manicure lasts for nearly two weeks with minimal tip wear. CONS: - dry time is not as fast as I hoped - not as glossy as some high shine top coats - doesn't work well with nail art designs because the formula is so thin; the designs tend to drag/bleed.
