OUAI Hair Gloss - In-Shower Shiny Hair Treatment & Glaze (6 Oz)

Used this for the first time today and man, I love this stuff. I chose to let my natural greys show about 5 years ago, with the process of naturally growing out the color taking 2 years, 2 months. Having naturally curly hair certainly changed the texture of my hair with being dryer than what it was when it was colored and frizzier as well. Someone in their review said it made their hair greasy and I will assume that they used too much of it when applying and/or possibly didn't rinse well enough. I used this sparingly on my locks and let my hair dry naturally. It is soft, shiny, no frizz and my curls are well defined. Highly recommend if you have my hair type.

I was getting a hair brightener put on at the hairdresser, and they charged me $45 for the treatment, and then I saw the ad on TV, so I bought a bottle of your product that you were promoting because I use your shampoo and conditioner. I love it, so I tried it and it was so good. I bought my sister one, and I got one for a gift for my daughter, who has long, beautiful hair, and it was so lovely that my hair turned out so great. I’m getting older. It was just something I loved right off the bat. I will never pay a hairdresser money to put that on my hair. I will only use your product at home. The only other thing I have in question regarding the hair brighter is that it is a 100% product I would buy and always buy the conditioner. I like I like your shampoo and conditioner a lot but the conditioner is in a stiff bottle and sometimes it’s hard to get out and so if you would change the bottle to maybe your shampoo bottle it’d be a lot easier to use at the beginning is fine but when I get a bit lower, I have to go to squeeze it with my niece to get it out. I’m just giving some helpful business because I was in the cosmetic business and I was in the nutrition business, so I understand bottling, just something to take in mind, but I love your products about everything. My daughter buys everything now, my sister‘s gonna be buying everything, so you have some good customers on the side. I write you very highly, very good business. I like this product and I love how my hair feels after I use it. But I am not a big fan of the smell. It is very strong.

OH MY GOODNESS. Dude. All static burdened and fine haired babes, read this freakin review. This stuff WORKS. Just look at my pictures! The first one you can see the static/dryness and the second is after I used this product. That is after I blow dried it!! No static. I swear on the bees. Okay I live in Colorado where you could run a small house on the amount of static you produce because it’s so dry here, especially in the winter. I have fine long hair (like to the middle of my back). Follow these directions and I promise you you and your hair will thank me. 1. Shampoo 2. Squeeze out all water 3. Split hair into two sections 4. Use like a pea to a dime size amount (seriously, don’t get excited and use a bunch) comb it through (with fingers is fine) on each section going ONLY to mid shaft. It will NOT feel slick like conditioner. Don’t worry. It’s doing its thang gurl, just be patient. 5. Leave on for 3-5 mins 6. Rinse 7. Condition your hair from mid shaft down (this locks in the moisture), don’t leave in for very long as it’s not necessary and it may make your hair greasy if you leave it on too long. 8. Rinse thoroughly 9. TA- DA! You now have fabulous glossy, moisturized hair. So I use all Ouai fine hair products. The smell of this one is like the others, floral. I am sensitive to smells and this doesn’t bother me. If you have fine hair, follow the directions above. You may need to tweak it based on your hair type but it worked wonders for mine. My hair was staticy as all get out and really dry and this stuff revived it massively. I will probably use this once or twice a week depending on how much static my hair holds. Cheers!

This product sucks and leaves my hair heavy, greasy and kind of sticky. I have fine hair. I’ve tried using it as directed as well as using more, using less, leaving it on for a longer time, leaving it on for a shorter time, but it’s always greasy instead of shiny. It leaves a weird coating in my hair. Waste of money and it’s an expensive product. Should have bought it somewhere I could return it after use.

I had to try this a couple different ways to get the results I wanted The amount is less than you think, and no conditioner after. Even a quick wash with a little shampoo helped it not feel so greasy It does still make my hair soft. I don’t think it’s glossier than before.

It works! Left my hair soft, shinny, silky and smelling so wonderful. Buy it, you won’t be sorry.

I’ve been looking to try a hair gloss for a while now and I’m glad I waited and found this one. I have purchased several other products from Ouai and I love them all! The scents are all wonderful! I followed the instructions for the gloss and got a really nice result. No detangler or leave in conditioner needed after washing my hair, I just dried it like I usually do. It definitely helps make my thick wavy hair feel sleek and smooth! It did feel a bit “heavy” but maybe that’s just the way it works. Definitely not an issue for me. The best part is when I washed my hair again, the product was still in my hair!! This time after drying, I applied the Ouai hair oil. Wow! The perfect combination!! I have trouble with static in my hair and the combination of these two products takes care of that AND leaves my hair shiny and sleek!! Using these two products will eliminate three or four other products I usually use….win win!! By the way, I have super sensitive skin and the Ouai products don’t give me any issues! I would recommend this to anyone who wants to try or is using a hair gloss!!

Needed this, my hair had alot of dry split ends and nothing was doing justice. I left this on for about 5 to 15 minutes, ends of my hair came out soft, healthy, looked nourished and no longer dry or split ends. Didn't make my hair look oily or greasy, didn't need leave in conditioner either. Will buy again for sure!

This is great product, provide shine and protection and convivence doing it at home in your shower. It enhances my existing highlights and overall hair color, make your hair feel smooth and look healthy. I would recommend this product.
