Hair Gloss - In-Shower Shiny Hair Treatment & Glaze (6 Oz)

This gloss made my hair feel smoother and look shinier right after using it. The texture is creamy and easy to spread, and it rinses out clean without leaving heaviness. My hair felt soft and looked more polished. A lovely in‑shower treatment.

This product is absolutely amazing. It made my hair feel like silk. My hair normally is very frizzy and brittle so this was a pleasant surprise! It can feel sticky once you get out of the shower and you’ll feel like you messed up BUT once you blow dry it the feeling goes away and will make your hair feel very soft. It notes on the bottle to use heat after use as well which I think people miss causing some panic. I’d definitely recommend this more for someone with thicker and frizzy hair as it does have some weight to it. I’d absolutely repurchase!

Love the fragrance. A little tricky to use. The amount recommended in directions (pea sized) did not feel like it covered the hair section. So i used more than recommended and my hair was weighed down. On the next try I followed the instructions and hair was shiny with much less frizz and not weighed down.

This has to be the best hair gloss. It's not oily, greasy, or sticky. It just does what it's supposed to do, which is add shine.

My hair felt like a greasy disaster. I normally use a different hair gloss treatment but I’m going on a trip and it wouldn’t arrive in time so I ordered this. What a mistake. I used my k18 shampoo as I always do, and applied this as instructed and rinsed thoroughly. I went to blow dry my hair and it felt like I slathered my hair in LITERAL VASOLINE. I HAD TO SHAMPOO MY HAIR WITH DETOX SHAMPOO TWICE for my hair to feel normal again. Never again will I deviate from my hair products. Lesson learned. For reference I have thick curly hair - my hair is not fine by any means and I have no words to describe how heavy and disgusting this felt on my hair. Even after attempting to blow dry, it felt greasy. I literally went to shampoo it out, got out of the shower, tried to blow dry AGAIN, and it was still greasy. TWO shampoos later with detox shampoo did the trick. I used the k18 detox shampoo too which is no joke.

OH MY GOODNESS. Dude. All static burdened and fine haired babes, read this freakin review. This stuff WORKS. Just look at my pictures! The first one you can see the static/dryness and the second is after I used this product. That is after I blow dried it!! No static. I swear on the bees. Okay I live in Colorado where you could run a small house on the amount of static you produce because it’s so dry here, especially in the winter. I have fine long hair (like to the middle of my back). Follow these directions and I promise you you and your hair will thank me. 1. Shampoo 2. Squeeze out all water 3. Split hair into two sections 4. Use like a pea to a dime size amount (seriously, don’t get excited and use a bunch) comb it through (with fingers is fine) on each section going ONLY to mid shaft. It will NOT feel slick like conditioner. Don’t worry. It’s doing its thang gurl, just be patient. 5. Leave on for 3-5 mins 6. Rinse 7. Condition your hair from mid shaft down (this locks in the moisture), don’t leave in for very long as it’s not necessary and it may make your hair greasy if you leave it on too long. 8. Rinse thoroughly 9. TA- DA! You now have fabulous glossy, moisturized hair. So I use all Ouai fine hair products. The smell of this one is like the others, floral. I am sensitive to smells and this doesn’t bother me. If you have fine hair, follow the directions above. You may need to tweak it based on your hair type but it worked wonders for mine. My hair was staticy as all get out and really dry and this stuff revived it massively. I will probably use this once or twice a week depending on how much static my hair holds. Cheers!

As a big fan of Ouai, I own many of their hair products. Unfortunately, I wasn't as big a fan of this as I am their hair mask, oil, or balm. I tried using this a few times, but at best the result was akin to a good conditioner (although, I will recognize there's a chance I used it incorrectly). If you want reliably shiny, soft, healthy hair, I'd recommend you try Ouai's hair mask or their new hair balm— they're great!

I’ve been looking to try a hair gloss for a while now and I’m glad I waited and found this one. I have purchased several other products from Ouai and I love them all! The scents are all wonderful! I followed the instructions for the gloss and got a really nice result. No detangler or leave in conditioner needed after washing my hair, I just dried it like I usually do. It definitely helps make my thick wavy hair feel sleek and smooth! It did feel a bit “heavy” but maybe that’s just the way it works. Definitely not an issue for me. The best part is when I washed my hair again, the product was still in my hair!! This time after drying, I applied the Ouai hair oil. Wow! The perfect combination!! I have trouble with static in my hair and the combination of these two products takes care of that AND leaves my hair shiny and sleek!! Using these two products will eliminate three or four other products I usually use….win win!! By the way, I have super sensitive skin and the Ouai products don’t give me any issues! I would recommend this to anyone who wants to try or is using a hair gloss!!

Needed this, my hair had alot of dry split ends and nothing was doing justice. I left this on for about 5 to 15 minutes, ends of my hair came out soft, healthy, looked nourished and no longer dry or split ends. Didn't make my hair look oily or greasy, didn't need leave in conditioner either. Will buy again for sure!

This is great product, provide shine and protection and convivence doing it at home in your shower. It enhances my existing highlights and overall hair color, make your hair feel smooth and look healthy. I would recommend this product.
