Although you can find a good number of easier to attach replacements, I've found those others flimsy and a bad fit for seating the shower handle. I recommend paying extra and getting this one, as all you need is to use a screw driver to loosen the lower attachment to pull out the vertical tube, slide off the broken one, and slide back on the new one. Much easier than I thought. The Grohe original part is the way to go.

Only complaint is unreasonably high price.

My original broke after 18 years and this is the same as the original.

After 10 years of use, the existing shower holder fell apart. The internal plastic knurl broke and the shower kept dangling. Replacing the unit is a bit tricky - you have to remove both the top and bottom shower rod holder and everything fit only one way. Once you get the hang of it, it pretty straightforward. Hopefully, this will last another 10 years like the original

We tried jury-rigging other solutions, because we had a hard time finding this one. Thankfully, it was here, it fit great, and looks beautiful again.

Exact replacement of the shower at my home. Still, its cheap plastic feel is not awesome. Also my shower is brushed nickel and that model is discontinued. Only chrome is available now

The unit arrived in a sealed box but was missing the tension pad that holds it in place. I was able to use the old pad from the original, but for the premium price you would expect better quality control.

すでに、17年住んでいるマンションですが風呂自体はきれいに利用していますが少しずつ劣化もしてくるものもあるために同じものを購入。自分でつけることができるため他の部材も少しづつリニューアルしていく予定。製品としては全く問題ないのでもし壊れたらまた購入します。
