I just had new cabinetry installed. I wanted to protect the inside of the cupboards. It protects the floor of the cupboard from bottles and cans marring the surface as well as any moisture. My one suggestion is this product should be sold in different widths to match the various cabinet sizes. The width of this product is too wide for any one cabinet. And too little left over from the cutting to match any other cabinet size. So, you throw half of the product away. Makes no sense.

I have one under my sink, (rubber lined). Really saves the wood base there against any wet garbage or drips. I use the light grey and it hasn’t shown any stains yet after two years! I bought another for a cabinet that was being marked on the bottom by trays sliding in and out. It solved that with the added bonus of being a sound buffer too. Easy to cut, stays in place. Can’t recommend this enough.

I got this for under the kitchen sink and bathroom sink. It's a really thick felt material with rubbery backing. Probably a bit overkill. The vinyl contact paper rolls would work just as well and less expensive. But this is fancier.
