Approximately how many pieces are in the one pound bag?

I ordered two pounds. One bag held 11, the other 12. Both bags did weigh one pound.

Would it be safe to use this product for copper cookware lining?

I have MANY copper cooking vessels. From the product information sold with these pots and pans the interior is TIN. Modern copper is being lined with stainless steel which lowers the great conductivity of copper (lined with tin.) The stainless steel doesn't look like silver however. The melting point of tin is ~ 450 degrees Fahrenheit. Not sure where anyone came up with 1700F - unless the "F" doesn't stand for Fahrenheit. If you watch YouTube videos of craftsmen lining/re-lining copper, they will tell you all about the tin they are using. I admit, when the tin is new it's very shiny and looks very much like silver. Good luck with your project. It's the same thing I will attempt.
