CorelDRAW Essentials 2024

I had this on my old laptop, but lost it when I got my new one. I couldn't find it and was thrilled to discover it again! I didn't want a subscription product, and couldn't be happier. This is an amazing program!

Corel is not accurate in the description of this program. Everything they say makes you think you will have a good experience creating illustrations like the ones they show images of except the tool that makes it possible was removed and that tool is the pen too. I paid $129.00 for my version sold by Corel as an Amazon download. There are no refunds. I tried the best I could connecting with them through the Corel website and got nowhere. You can't connect with them through Amazon. Corel has a duty to make it clear what the limitations of this program are. They don't. They took the pen tool out a few years ago and I expect the reason was they wanted to sell the more expensive version called CorelDraw Standard. They should have discontinued CorelDRAW essentials but they didn't and they get suckers like me and hopefully not you to buy it.

CorelDRAW is a very fine program for illustrations. This version is a home and student version - we're retired and delighted at how capable it is. We for years have had a more general purpose version which was quite a bit more expensive but we've always been impressed by the capabilities.

My daughter uses this for her computer generated art drawings. It is easy to use and much more affordable than Photo$hop. Thank you for offering this program as a one time purchase rather than a yearly subscription. It performs well even with large files. I also enjoy the photo editing features.

There are not the phot editi g tools needed to edit photos. The Extremely li.lmited tools (2) for effect don't allow you yo doing anything other than redo previous edit. This is more like shareware photo editing program. Very sad for coreldraw. As it is no return, if you buy it you loose your money. The direction of product does not say it has reduced functions or tools. That would have been nice to know before I threw my money away. I hive it 1 star because I can't give zero stars.

It did not have clip art and it difficult to use.

Don't waste your money. I have used corel draw in my business since 1973. I sold my business. I wanted a home graphics software so I bought Corel draw essentials. It's horrible. I would list all the issues, but just too many. Wish I could get credit on it and buy the regular version.
