Adorable Tricycle
The Tricycle is well made and adorable for my almost 3 year old grandson. Added a zipper pouch to the front handlebar and a basket to rear step to carry all his collections. Since we selected orange color and he loves peaches we decided to give the bike the name Peaches. I have also ordered a custom 3 X 6 license plate with his name, state and of course Peaches for the rear basket.

Best Tricycle I've Ever Seen
Santa brought this for my Son on Christmas of 2009 (it is 16 months old, as of this writing). I've got to say, I'm extremely impressed with what Santa's elves have done here. This is, easily, the highest-quality, most well-made tricycle I have ever seen. Indeed, before seeing this with my own two eyes, I didn't know such a well-made tricycle even existed! Everything about this tricycle oozes quality and, a year and a half later, it is still going strong. To begin, the design of the trike is great. The smooth curves and retro styling make this really eye-catching. The paint, chrome, and trim are beautiful. The wooden, chrome-trimmed deck in back is a great touch which my son uses frequently to tote around toys, etc. The thick, fully-treaded, pneumatic tires are great and, after a year and a half of use, have not cracked or deflated in the slightest. Even the quality of the well-secured, fabric handlebar tassels is impressive. The inclusion of a steel handlebar bell is yet another nice touch. The low center of gravity makes this a supremely safe vehicle. Not only does it look cool, but I can't imagine this thing tipping over. As a matter of principal I still insist that my son wears a helmet, but that has more to do with me teaching him good safety habits than anything else because I doubt the helmet will ever have a chance to do its job. It's as if a steel-framed bicycle cross-bred with one of the "Big Wheels" we adults all loved as children. Please be aware that this tricycle is big and the reach from the seat to the pedals is far, even when the seat is adjusted to be as close to the pedals as possible. I'd say most kids can start using it around 2 1/2 years (sorry that's a little vague, but I'm not sure how to properly measure the seat/pedal distance and equate that to a precise height). The flip side of this is that it will last a long time (with regard to supporting your child's growth). When Santa brought this for my 22-month old, he could barely reach the pedals and he's always been quite tall for his age. For us, it was no problem though; he just scooted around on it until he could reach the pedals, which was easy given to the low profile. As far as I'm concerned, if you're in the market for a tricycle and your child is big enough to reach the pedals, there is simply nothing else worth considering. If your child is not quite big enough, but will be soon, I'd recommend you at least consider waiting so that you can purchase this tricycle rather than any other. Zero complaints.

Overall, exceptional quality.
Purchased for my niece's 2nd birthday. She definitely had some growing to do but this trike is the cutest thing ever. We were actually able to add pedal block extenders and she was able to reach the pedals perfectly around 2.5 years old! The trike assembled easily and is exceptionally sturdy and well made. My neice loves the pink color and there are beautiful details throughout. Definitely top of the line trike between the real painted metal and there's even real wood on the back of the trike so another kid can join along in the fun. My only recommendation after having owned this trike for over 2 years now is that you should store it in your garage when not in use and avoid leaving it outside. I say this because the wood panel on the back quickly lightened and weathered from being left outside inbetween uses and that's with storing it in a garage over winter. The awesome thing was this trike is the ability for it to grow with your child by moving the seat to fit your little one. Overall, very impressive trike, just watch out for weathering!

Get this one...for real....we and the kid are in love with it.
First: I want to say that the pictures posted of the whole bike do not do it justice. It is so retro and cool. Very sturdy and we love how low to the ground it is. Edit: the review option didnโt give me option to post pictures Second: the wheels are amazing. Perfect for grip and especially on our area of play of mostly rocks. They are not the hard plastic wheels folks. Third: the original shipper that shipped it to amazon did a poor job of packaging it securely. (Or amazon receiving it to ship to us) so at one point part of the back wheel pushed through and damaged the outer cover. It is a gift for our three year olds birthday, so we are not returning it....it doesnโt bother the functionality of the bike and with being quarantined eighth now, this little dude needs something new to do! Fourth: almost forgot, the seat can be moved forward and backwards and the hand bars adjusted by height as well. Kiddos love the โring bellโ as he calls it and thinks the tassels are โprettyโ. We got the real color and it is beautiful. Stuff happens, so Iโm not going to take a star away for the damaged part. I feel certain if I did raise the issue it would have been resolved. This is the perfect toddlers bike.

Very durable and easy to put together
The quality of the bike is fantastic. I had to purchase this twice because of some imperfections on the fender. Amazon always works it out. They are fantastic. My grandson loves us.

Pretty cool tricycle.
Sent this out of state for my granddaughterโs 2nd birthday gift along with a helmet. My son just finished assembling it and this is his take on the tricycle. โPneumatic tires on it. Glad I had a bike pump handy. No valve stem caps which I thought was odd until it crossed my mind about them being a choking hazard. Bearings for the front and rear end but just a plastic bushing for the handlebars and fork. All in all it's very cool and solidโ

Don't over-tighten the bell
The first one we got had a faulty front tire that wouldn't stay on the rim when inflated. But we returned it and got the same style/model again and have had no problems with that one other than a relatively minor issue with the bell. Be careful with the bell because it's easy to over-tighten it to the point it will no longer ring, but if you don't tighten it enough it will not grip the handlebar and will slip/rotate around the handlebar making it hard to reach it and ring it. I call it a minor issue because it *seems* that there should be an easy fix. So far I've tried double-sided tape around the handlebar before fastening the bell, and that didn't work very well, but I'm thinking that a strip of grippy rubber may do it--I just haven't found the right grippy rubber yet. The overall look of the tricycle can't be beat. Looks both classic and classy. Quality seems fairly good. The tire issue seems to have been an isolated defect.

Easy to set up. The little bell and the tassels add to the charm, and the whole tricycle is just so adorable! It works well and our two year old niece loves it!

Beautiful toddler/preschooler tricycle
My grandson just turned 2 & loves his new tricycle. I love that the handlebars & seat are adjustable, so that he can already reach the pedals. It's also very well built, with the quality you expect from Schwinn - well worth the money!
