Incredibly lightweight!!
Move over Samsonite! Travelpro is now the champion of lightweight and quality luggage! Since the 1970’s, we’ve always opted for Samsonite for their quality and durability. However, my old large sized Samsonite which is still in excellent condition, has become way too heavy for me. Did my research, found this Travelpro and so glad I did! I bought the medium one which is plenty roomy for extended trips (I’ll use my small Samsonite for short overnight trips). I can literally lift my new Travelpro with one finger! It’s that light! The wheels roll and swivel easily and the handles are padded for comfort. It has your standard zipper pockets on the inside and out and the zippers appear high quality and glide smoothly. Don’t waste your money on any others if you want the most lightweight suitcase that looks nice and is high quality. You can’t beat the price either. Lightweight Samsonites cost over $400!!! Who would pay that much for luggage! Can’t wait to take my next trip with my new Travelpro!!

High quality- packed for a 3-week trip easily
I bought the 'TravelPro Maxlite 5' luggage: 19-inch International carryon roller and 18" under-the-seat shoulder bag carryon. Love it. If you pack it right, you can actually pack for up to a 3-week trip between the two. Note that I studied how to pack prior to my trip. I'll share what I was able to pack in a moment. I used this lightweight set (5.3 pounds- truly lightweight!) with other very functional items to optimize packing: 1. Compression Packing Cubes (two medium, one small + one packing 'tube' for socks and undergarments) made of lightweight parachute, water-resistant material (Eagle Creek 2-zipper system- you don't need to use a vacuum) 2. One travel garment bag for my business clothes (one Eagle Creek - large. Made of same ligjtweight parachute material with lightweight folding board tool + velcro straps to compress clothes and keep them pretty much wrinkle-free) 3. Two single-pair shoe bags (Eagle Creek -they're aerated plastic covered in small mesh black netting) 4. Cofreya travel-sized, silicon gel bottles that don't burst under pressure in high altitudes- and are airline approved for size). By rolling clothes (except those in the garment bag), I was ankle to pack: a. 3 dresses b. 2 skirts c. 1 pair of pants d. 2 yoga 'sweats' outfits including both tops and pants e. 2 pullover sweaters (wore one on plane) f. pajamas g. 2 additional leggings + 2 camisoles h. 1 pair leather pumps I. over-the-ankle leather dress boots j. 1 pair Uggs boots (wore these on plane) k. accessories- 2 full-sized scarves, packable purse to use during the trip, mittens, ear muff etc. I. 3 turtleneck tops m. 3 camisole tops o. Small - lightweight business briefcase 'envelope' p. electronics: small tablet, phone, etc. ...all that AND a bag of chips and small snacks! (and no, I didn't end up using the expandable zippered area of the luggage). Note: To prolong the parade of clean clothes, I also packed Travelon & Tide travel laundry detergent + Travelon travel bathtub laundry clothesline (no clothes pins needed) and quickly sink-washed items each night). Anyway, just sharing the details to show the capability - (and packability) of these 2 bags when using the right tools. The bags themselves are high quality and have a warranty. The pretty, dusty rose color I bought is wonderful AND it's easy to spot should someone other than you decide to take your luggage. Really appreciate the 360 degree rollers since I have the option of pushing the luggage alongside me instead of always having to pull it. Three telescopic handle gave several options e.g. when putting the shoulder bag on top the suitcase - or not. The design maximized space. I've included photos showing that the shoulder bag fits under smaller planes such as the UAL Airbus planes I boarded. You must insert the bag on its back rather than standing up - and it will easily fit. Great purchase and value, functional, lightweight design, high quality.

Love the spin on this lightweight carryon!
Talk about a spinner! The wheels on this suitcase are incredible and are so nimble when carting it around the airport, to hotels, or through city streets! I typically struggle lifting my bag into the overhead bins on a plane, but with the weight of this suitcase, I can do so with ease! I’ve found that I prefer a soft-sided suitcase and love how durable this fabric is. I do know that the green color may stain over time, but love how stylish it looks for now, and that it stands out amongst the sea of black and charcoal gray. If you’re not used to an international sized suitcase, you may struggle with space in this one! Though I researched extensively to find a spinner that met 22x14x9” dimensions, the interior does feel smaller than other bags I’ve had. Overall, I look forward to using this spinner as my carryon for years to come!

Almost Perfect except for a Sticky Zipper
I take forever deciding on purchases and this was no exception. I comb through tons of Amazon reviews and then bring up assorted reviews through internet searches. I get overwhelmed and have to take breaks to clear my head. So when I finally decided on this one it was a huge relief. I loved its appearance pulling it out of its box. It’s light enough for a disabled person to lift. The wheels are fantastic. They are so smooth and the bag moves with a push of a finger. I liked how the compartments were divided and the zippered top. The problem came when I packed it full and then had trouble with the zipper rounding the top corner. Yes, the bag was full, but the other side didn’t have the same problem. I had no choice but to take the bag with me, and I hoped this was a one time event. I chose this because I dislike checking a bag if I can get everything in a carryon. So I was carrying it through the security checkpoint and was shocked to see two bins down the exact purple bag! What are the odds, I wondered. I thought this would be a fairly rare suitcase. Boy was I wrong! If I hadn’t gone the extra mile and placed bright yellow luggage tags on my purple bag I could have had a luggage mixup on my maiden voyage! I thoroughly enjoyed how easy this was to navigate through the airport and up to the Airbnb I was staying at. But both times I unpacked and repacked had the same problem with the zipper at the same corner. I ended up returning it. I didn’t feel good about a problem zipper from the start. I was very disappointed.

good capacity, much sturdier than it looks, fits how you need it to fit
A lightweight, well-balanced "one week" suitcase. Very good. I put mine through a LOT this year on two complex global itineraries. It doesn't show any damage of any kind, still rolls beautifully, and was never any source of frustration. It's amazingly light (empty). The tapered shape is very effective (if packed correctly) at making sure your suitcase with stacked carryon won't fall over. Like all spinner (quad wheel) designs, it takes a little extra effort on rough pavement or over large gaps. Not enough to be frustrating, but you have to pay attention to "jump" it across the gaps or it may get stuck. This is the largest size suitcase I consider "manageable": * It'll fit (all 4 wheels) on the step of every escalator I took it on (at least two dozen) * It'll fit properly in the Amtrak end-of-car luggage racks (both NEC Regional and Acela) * It'll fit (tight) between the facing seats on the New York LIRR * It fit in the cargo area of all types of small taxis around the world * It fit through the hatch and in the narrow back end of a seaplane without any theatrics. * And not so large that it'll lend itself to overpacking past the checked weight limit If that wasn't enough, it also went through transfers, sorting, load&unload in all kinds of temperature extremes, long haul flights, big airports, dinky little airports, being checked & transferred a dozen times. Held up like a champ. Better than me, possibly. Other thoughts: I'd characterize this as week-long suitcase. But for solo travelers, if you're a low-maintenance or high-density packer, don't do much shopping, and have a carry-on also? Comfortably 9-14 days, verified personally. For a couple packing together it's probably less, 4-6 days? If you're not carrying breakables, I think this sort of nylon construction is "easier" to work with than a hardside. It has some flex and some ability to squish, the expansion zipper works well, it's easy to pack w/o any special techniques. I've used Traevelpro's other products, but this first maxlite piece has me already ordering another size. Highly Recommended.

Light
Very light weight, easy to roll and quality seems good. Only had one trip with the set so far. Will see how it holds up to 5 + International flights a year.

Lightweight, durable, great design, large exterior pocket that accommodates laptops
I've had my Travelpro for several years now and got one for my husband. It's the best carry-on luggage I've owned. What stands out is its light weight, the functional spinning wheels, convenient handles and especially an oversized exterior pocket that can hold a large laptop, making the laptop accessible without having to open the main compartment. In addition, there's a smaller exterior pocket where I put headphones, chargers and other small items I typically need while flying, again without having to open the main compartment. The main compartment is ample and somewhat expandable, allowing me to pack a long weekend's worth of outfits, including a change of shoes. For me, packing for five days in winter would be a stretch, but I could probably pack for a five-day summer trip with this this luggage plus a backpack, thus avoiding having to check any bags on a plane.

Versatile and rugged soft-side bag.
Excellent small but expandable 4 wheel bad. The bag handlers got oil or some unknown chemical on the bag. Soap and water got it all out. Bag was great and easy to manage.

Excelente maleta
Muy buena maleta, materiales resistentes, muy ligera, con buen espacio interior, la agarradera sale muy suave, y las llantas muy suaves también al llevarla rodando, además la encontramos más barata en el color rosa, y por el color rosa no somos menos hombres jaja

Very Large Suitcase
Bought this for my wife to replace an older, smaller, low quality suitcase. In my opinion this size is extreme overkill, but she loves it! So much room to pack all those clothes you "think" you might need on vacation, but never wear. High quality, very nice handles, wheels and zippers. Full expect this to hold up very well over the years.

Love these
Super light weight, very easy to move with the 4 way wheels. I think one of the bags was a tiny bit different measurement than the site said, but only by a little, and not enough to cause us issues. Can't comment on durability yet - haven't had a chance to travel with them yet.

Awesome!
Like that it’s light and the wheel swivels very smoothly. Price point is steep and does not contain a build in lock for safety
