Handy Shortcut For Fajita Night
🌮 Brief introduction Picked this up for one of those evenings where I wanted something reasonably tasty but couldn't be bothered measuring out half the spice rack. Fajitas are a regular meal in our house, so I was curious to see whether the air fryer version would actually save any effort. 👃 First taste The seasoning smells quite promising when you open the packet, with plenty of paprika and herby notes coming through. Mixed it with chicken, peppers and onions before throwing everything into the air fryer. The kitchen smelled far more impressive than the amount of effort involved, which is usually a good sign. 📅 After a few meals I've used it a couple of times now and it's been pretty decent overall. The flavour is well balanced and gives the chicken a nice coating without becoming overwhelmingly spicy. The air fryer method works surprisingly well too, with everything cooking evenly and picking up a bit of colour around the edges. It doesn't taste quite as rich as a proper homemade fajita seasoning mix, but it's certainly close enough for a quick weeknight dinner. ✅ What I liked • Very easy to use • Good balance of herbs and spices • Works well in the air fryer • Nice flavour without being too spicy • Makes a quick meal feel slightly more planned 🤏 One minor annoyance The seasoning is a little on the salty side for my taste. Nothing drastic, but I wouldn't add extra salt to the meal afterwards. 👀 Who this would suit Ideal for busy households, students or anyone who wants fajitas without turning the kitchen into a science experiment involving seventeen spice jars and a lot of washing up.

I liked this though I was taken slightly off guard by the amount of parsley in it and just how strong the parsley taste was throughout. Not really something I associate with fajitas. It was flavourful though and easy to use. It wasn't spicy at all so you might want to add extra chilli powder to it.
