My Own Very Hungry Caterpillar Coloring Book

I absolutely adore this colouring book. I thought it would just be full of pictures of the different images you find in the original book, so that the children could colour them in whatever way they see fit. But this is actually the entire story book with all the drawings in outline, so the children can read the book and colour all the different fruits and the caterpillar as they come along in the story. The idea is quite simple, but it really is very clever, and my nephew loves it to pieces! I wish I had bought two of them, I wouldn't mind colouring my own caterpillar book, to be honest... :)

My daughter and I loved colouring in this book. It's the same story as the hungry caterpillar board book that she also has but this one you colour in all the pictures. She's on;y 2 so it's not amazing work but she loved doing it. We used coloured pencils and paint and lots of bright colours, some of the colours that the caterpillar wasn't in the book so we gave him a new identity! She now pulls the finished book out to read and we read the story as normal. A great way to pass a rainy day and unlike colouring books you can sit and read again and again so great value for money.

Lovely book for children from the Eric Carle series of books. This book is a colour in book but it has the story too. I'd rather have had the image on the front of the book coloured in to make it look more appealing to children. A great item though and makes a fantastic present.

First purchased for my son, loved it! Have bought it for 2 others as birthday gifts (along with colouring pens) definitely something to treasure as time goes on!

I brought this for my 3 year old for a Christmas day, & I must say I really like this colouring book, the child can add there name and age, and colour the story for themselves, I found it to be very good quailty and all these little touches made the book feel very personalised! Would recommend, not for very young children though.

This book is BEAUTIFUL. It's exactly the story and images of the original book but all without colour, for the children to colour. Both my 5 year old son and 2 year old daughter love it. I've ordered a new one to give as a Christmas gift to the 4 year old daughter of a friend.

We got this for my nephew who just turned two. What a hit! He loved it and just wanted to colour all evening. I highly recommend this for any parent to get their child. It's not complicated at all, and the pictures are nice an big which it great for the little ones.

Das Buch kam schnell und ohne Probleme. Das ganze Buch von Eric Carle ist abgebildet, allerdings muss man alles selbst anmalen (klar, ist ja auch ein Malbuch ;-) ). Ich habe es für den Englischunterricht in der Grundschule bestelt und lasse die Kinder in Kunst eigene Bilder anfertigen. Viele tolle Ideen sind so entstanden.

So cute and very sturdy. Purchased for a two year old who loves The Very Hungry Caterpillar. The pages are thicker than a standard coloring book and the pages bring the story to life.
