This is good, but it is a bit salty. You will notice the salt but it goes well with the plum; I just wish they had used a tad less of it. The ingredients are simple: apple puree, then plum, then salt, and finally citric acid. Most of the sweetness for all of their flavors comes from apple puree (which is better than added sugars or HFCS). The only annoyance is the presentation. To get to exactly 6 ounces, it seems they cut from a large sheet, and then add some smaller cuts as needed to get the scale where they want it. This means you get random pieces. I got one very large piece and then two small pieces. There are six servings per container, but my large piece was about 10 times bigger than my two small pieces. You have to cut your own servings. Each piece is wrapped on BOTH sides with a very thin sheet of plastic. It can be difficult to find the edge of the plastic to remove it. You will get sticky fingers in this process.

I suspect that I am spoiled by "American" fruit leather that, perhaps is packed with sugar or something. Because this fruit leather is very sour. I mean it says it is sour right on the package, so it's not like it's bad or anything. But it is something that might take some getting used to... however I'm not sure I want to get used to it. I want to like it, but I really don't have a desire to eat any more of it. The product comes in a resealable thick plastic bag in the form of 3 approx 5x7 inch sheets. It is very sticky and you can't do anything while you eat it because your fingers become coated with stickiness. Expiration date is 2026. Give it a shot if sour is your thing.

It is definitely sour. I really like the texture, though. It’s like the older softer S*nkist fruit rolls ups that they used to sell individually in the produce section of the store, not the new waxy plastic textured ones. I think it’s the better stuff :) It’s really sticky. The good ones usually are. The package is resealable so yay! The expiration date on my bag is 10/28/2026. Packaged in the USA, this 6oz of Lavashak Plum Fruit Leather contains apple puree, plum, salt, and citric acid for a sweet and slightly salty taste. This is my first time trying Persian (Iranian) fruit leather. It comes packaged in between sheets of plastic wrap. Cut off as much as you want from one of the sheets, peel the plastic wrap off both sides, roll up if desired, and then eat for a delicious, concentrated snack that tastes of plum even though the first ingredient is apple. This is a specialty item that is traditionally served at Nowruz, the Persian New Year, and other special occasions As a Baha’i, I too celebrate Naw-Ruz, this year on March 20, so it is fitting that this arrived the day before!

Most grocery store packages contain 3.5 to 5 oz of rolled fruit leather, and name brand leathers contain added sugar. These do not, which gives them a slightly sweet/sour taste that I loved. Cut these pieces into manageable strips to eat them. The package says it contains six servings, which would be 1 oz each, twice the weight of other roll ups, where ten fruit leathers equal five ounces. These would be nice to include in an adult's work lunch as dessert or a snack.

I'm not sure if my package got a bit warm today or what, but when I opened this bag, the fruit leather was somewhat soft and it was not easy to peel the plastic wrapping off it. It was also very sticky to the touch. That being said, I'm giving this fruit leather 5 stars because it tasted amazing. Very sweet and sour in an intense and natural way. I plan on putting this in the refrigerator to make it easier to peel.
