Very good for IELTS Prep.
My daughter's english was already good. She got a Band 8 out of possible 9. I had purchased this for pure practice.Shendid only 3-4 modules per section for practice. Didn't bother about mock test - as the real exam is the real deal - that experience is invaluable. IELTS exam nitty gritty cannot be captured in a book ...but this is best for a single book prep. Very weak students should skip it and start from Cambridge 5.5-6.0 book...this one is a bit advanced. Also, some techniques like skim reading are dead wrong...learn to read fast and understand. Access code - send email to cambridge
As this is an old publication and cambridge has migrated their system, the access code wont work. You need to send email to Cambridge to access the mini book. It should be mention in this product.

DONT BUY THIS BOOK - WASTE OF MONEY
unable to access the resources as the code metioned inside is invalid. there is no multimedia app available. i have emailed Cambridge connect multiple time but i havent received any reply from them.

This is new edition so it contains multi media app not cd rom.

App doesn't work; will write about the book later;
Ok, I'll write about the book after I go through it. Right now - the multi-media app thing is a scam. It doesn't work! So, don't expect to see an app which you can use.

Invalid Access code
Access code for media files inside the book did not work , since the code inside my copy only works for south Asia countries not for UAE

No clear way to access the audio/media
I bought this book expecting easy access to the audio/media, but I could not find any QR code or any clear instructions inside the book or on the product page explaining how to access it. This was disappointing because the listening material is essential for using the book properly. The content may be useful, but the media access method should be explained much more clearly.
