Jumbo DeskStand Standing Desk Height Adjustable Sit-Stand Desk Converter, Ergonomic Furniture

I really like the look and flexibility of this design. Immediately lent (aka gave!) mine to my son for DJ and home studio use, ordered a second to keep for myself for home office use. The desk tops can be placed anywhere on the ladder section, and they’re more than big enough for most home office / studio needs. Great value, well designed and engineered.

GREAT option for a stand-up desk! Easy to assemble. Easy to adjust. Highly portable. I will suggest that if using a heavy video monitor or dual video monitors on top shelf at positioned at top height setting that the tower is unstable with that much weight added up high. Currently I am using an iMac 27" on top shelf set at top height setting and the tower is very unstable if bumped. So, I ordered the Stabilizer cable option from DeskStand for this JUMBO DeskStand application. I haven't received the Stabilizer order yet sufficient to comment on any increased stability achieved by adding the Stabilizer. I will update this review once the Stabilizer is received and installed.

I began looking for this type of desk as it is promoted by a popular scoliosis yoga instructor, however that brand is nearly twice the price. This desk is very well made! Being very particular and design oriented, I’m so happy to say I love it! I suffer from pain due to a cervical ligament tear and recent scoliosis diagnosis. I write many proposals and having the computer at eye level is key to remaining pain free! Thank you for having integrity with your design and making a wonderful product!

I got this as a desk topper when I ordered a desk treadmill so I could walk and work. I absolutely love this desk. It’s easy to put together. The shelves are easy to move, it’s sturdy enough to take notes on. It does what I need it to and it’s pretty. You can’t put your whole weight on it but you can definitely stack a few books and notebooks on the shelves without a problem. 10/10 would recommend if you’re needs are similar to mine.

This is a great and sturdy desk stand. I love the ergonomics of it and the ability to move it around depending on if I want to stand or sit on the floor. I ordered and received one shelf smaller than the other, not as pictured. I contacted the company directly and they sent me another all the way from S. Africa. They were very pleasant and stood behind their product. This is a company I can stand behind.

Used on a table, the lowest shelf position is about the right height for typing. But I wanted to use this on a counter that is a few inches higher than a table, and its not ergonomic to type on there. That's a shame since they could have included some lower shelf positions instead of the decorative bottom arch. I'm 5'9, so shorter people may find it even more limiting. Also the wood seems to be unsealed or at most minimally sealed. I'm guessing it will stain. All that said, the desk is big and feels solid. I'm keeping it despite the limitations.

I knew I need a standing desk converter and strongly preferred something wooden over the myriad of metal/plastic options available that are quite expensive. My main prerequisites were: (1) It needs to have two shelves that can be adjusted separately, one for the monitor or laptop and the other for a Bluetooth keyboard. This allows for proper ergonomics. (2) It needs to have a higher shelf tall enough where my monitor or laptop is eye-level (I'm 5'7"). (3) It needs to be able to fit on a regular size desk by having supports on the bottom that jut out from the desk or table it sits upon. (4) It needs to be aesthetically pleasing and (5) sturdy. The Jumbo DeskStand fits the bill for each of these. Of all the qualities noted above, the only one I would give 4/5 stars to is the sturdiness. Now, it is quite sturdy and I have no worries about putting my laptop, phone, keyboard, and mouse on it, with plenty of space for a book or papers. But I also have little children. This is *not* the kind of things kids can hang on, grab, etc. It will fall and is quite heavy. But if that's not one of the considerations for you, or you will simply have it at your work office, it will be more than adequate. It does not wobble, and you could easily rest your forearms on it without risk of tipping. I know the company also makes these in different colors. I personally enjoy the natural wood color found on amazon, but it might be nice to have the other color options available, too.

this is based on first impression and brief usage. the range of height on this is really great and much better than other options available. it's very quick and easy to assemble and re-arrange and dissemble. it's nice big surfaces to work on with clever touches it smells like real wood: which is a nice change from plasticy crap. also, packaging was minimal: very nice...
