I bought this fan after my son destroyed my dreo tower fan he deliberately turned on and jammed a pencil in breaking the tiny blades. he's 4 yrs old by the way. The tower fan was great but not child proof. So bought this pedestal fan that cost 3x as much. Is it worth it? I would have to see when summer comes around and how it compliments my AC. It has a nice steady stream of air no feathering like a traditional fan the dual blade design is cool I've never seen anything like it. But they don't real explain how it works. It could be a gimmic. It is really quite. The fan motor and blades are quiet but I could hear the motors used for oscillating. It almost sounds like I can faintly hear a dump truck operating very far away. I can only hear this in a very quiet room. It didn't bother me but it did have me looking out the window just out curiosity. There's two motors that make the head move up down left right so if you keep it horizontal you probably won't really hear it. A normal fan uses a loud ac motor and a knob that takes advantage of the spinning motor shift and gears so take that inconsideration. The fan won't tip over because it has a heavy base. The fan connects to wifi and can be controlled by your phone. You can set up this fan to work with your AC to achieve desired temp. It will sense the temp of the room and will oscillate vertically and horizontally at varying speeds if it's hot it will blow harder if it's cool not so hard. It keeps your ac from working to hard saving on power. The fan runs on 24 volt dc current which cost nothing so you can technically run the fan on batteries or solar power if you have the right adapters. I bought the fan because it's feature rich and space saving I'm sure the fans below this one work just as fine I forgot one thing the controls for the fan are low like you have to bend down or get on a knee, but they provide a remote with battery or you can control with phone. Update. Fan works well with ac and I like the natural setting that simulates sudden burst of a breeze good for when you're by yourself relaxing and you focus the fan on yourself. Because a constant breeze can make you feel cold sometimes. 🥶

Wow, just wow! I am seriously impressed with this Dreo Fan. We've been sweltering through some warm days already, and our old fan just wasn't cutting it. Decided to give this one a try, especially with the smart control features, and I'm so glad I did. Right out of the box, setup was a breeze. But the real magic happened when I turned it on. This thing is SO quiet when on the lower settings up until 6 or 7! I can actually have it running while watching TV or working without it being a distraction. And the airflow? Amazing. It really circulates the air around the whole room, making everything feel cooler and more comfortable. The smart control is a fantastic touch. Being able to adjust it from my phone is one of those little luxuries I didn't know I needed. Plus, it has a bunch of different modes, so I can get just the right kind of breeze. If you're looking for a fan that's powerful, quiet, and has some cool tech features, look no further. This Dreo fan is absolutely worth it. Seriously, a top-notch product!

Appearance: Looks premium. Same or similar than what Dyson would use. I like the lower grade one that has brown leather color better. Functionality: It has ten level of power. I think it has an app to pair with it, but I don’t use it. The wind can be very strong, It cam blow up amd down. HOWEVER, unlike the traditional towe which blows wind from top to bottom in parallel, it only gives out wind at the top. So, you will feel the wind shoulder up. Does it cool the room? Not quite. I live in california. It can get to 100 indoor. If the weather is hot, this won’t change the reality or make it better. I learned about the air circulation methodolgy and tried it out. It still is the same. What’s good? It is quiet up to level 3 or 4. So, I use it when sleeping. Also, when at night or the temperature cools down, this does accelerate the cool down of the room a bit. It is heavy. So, it is painful to move from room to room. Bottomline, it is a fancy fan. Don’t expect more than that.

Worth every penny! This was definitely a splurge purchase for us last year. But we use it every night to sleep, and it has been a game changer. To be able to adjust it not only side to side, but up and down as well! The air circulation mode is great and perfect for white noise. The app is great, being able to change the speed, or settings from my phone is so cool. I can even do it remotely if I’m not home to get the home cooled off before I arrive home. It has held up well, no issues electronically. The base is very heavy (for a fan), it won’t get knocked over even with two dogs running around. I would definitely recommend this if you can!

I will give it 5 stars only because giving it 4 stars would be a little too much of a knock. I will not go into all the things the fan does well, since many other customers have covered them, so I will simply say all the features are excellent and the fan works exceptionally well. The only flaw is that they ship the fan with a silly short screw to connect the fan to the base. The screw is inserted at the bottom of the base and it goes into the stem of the fan, which has a female-threaded receptacle to receive the screw. Apparently, this is made of cheap plastic – if you over-tighten the screw even a little, it cuts right through the threads on the female side and the screw will just keep turning. This will never secure the base to the fan firmly. This is a terrible design. Instead of a short screw, a long and thick bolt needs to be provided, and that must screw into a metallic nut at the base of the stem of the fan. That will provide a much stronger method of securing the fan to the base. Other than that, everything else is A+. Yes, it is a little pricey, but it is the best product on the market and brand new. Eventually, maybe a year or two later, the price will probably come down. You can buy it then for a lower price, or buy it now and start enjoying it sooner. That is a basic tradeoff in life! The infra-red remote control is a little weak, but it works if you catch the line of sight. It takes a bit of getting used to.

Clearly defective engineering so, sadly, stay away from this one. We absolutely loved it while it worked, but similarly to others, we’re 18 months in and the tilt mechanism has broken and makes a loud cracking sound whenever the fan tilts down and the fan assembly literally falls to its lowest point. Fan is essentially unusable now. Ordered a different Dreo model hoping the side hinge design avoids this neck tilt design problem.

This replaced a creaking and rattling Rowenta Turbo Silence that I initially loved. I thought it moved a great bit of air for being a standard pedestal fan and I believed was a great bedtime fan. Boy were my standards low... I was so nervous that the smaller head size of this fan wouldn't cut it, but this thing optimizes physics like I've never seen in a fan. It moves air quicker and more efficiently than even my beloved Vornados in the rest of the house, and will be replacing them in stages (since Vornados definitely have a shorter shelf life of constant use). I like to be very cool when sleeping, and with this fan being placed only two feet from the foot of the bed, I found that getting the coolest sensation was acquired not by blasting it, but setting it to about 3 or 4. The medium speed actually moves and breaks the air over the bed perfectly. At full speed, it's almost TOO good, and definitely breaks against the wall and moves the air too fast over us. In fact, when cooling my second floor with my window AC, I can set this fan near the doorway and chill the upstairs in minutes, even finding cool air to make its way downstairs and into the dining room. Simply put, this thing is amazing and worth every penny. The app takes it over the top and actually works. I'm very impressed.

We have the Shark fan in our house to compare this with and although there Shark has portability this is so much better in functions and features. It is better looking and takes up less room as the footprint is a little smaller. Having an App to control the fan also is a great addition option. The full up, down, left, and right motion is a game changer and makes this fully live up to the term Air Circulator. It might not be the cheapest option but this is worth the money if you have the budget for it. The fan offered 10 speed modes and a Turbo option for that additional increase over the 10 base modes. By far the best mode is Auto because it also has its own thermostat and will increase in speed as it gets hotter. speeds 1-4 are practically silent and still offer great circulation in an average room

QUIET! MODERN STYLE. ATTRACTIVE. EXPENSIVE! At low speeds, this fan is virtually silent. We forget it is on! It looks modern and attractive in our family room. It moves the air around in a pleasant not windy manner and this helps to keep our family room cooler because we do not have any forced air conditioning into the room. Very impressed by this fan! Yes it is relatively expansive but it is worth the higher cost to us. At higher speeds using the vertical and horizontal oscillating features there is one issue: it blows the dust off of our decoration items hanging from the ceiling! :) This handily beats all other fans we have owned: old box fans, desk top fans, floor standing fans. Highly recommended if you value high quality products which cost more than low quality products. As some say “you get what you pay for”.
