My nephew told me about these. Look great. He told me to use silicone to seal the solar panel and battery compartment before using. His first ones purchased he did not and he had corrosion problems.So far my sealed units are working great.

50 lumens is a lot brighter than any I've seen, and the included long wire extension allows placement of the solar cell in a sunny location and the spotlight in a shady spot, like under a tree. I've tacked the wire down into the lawn with landscaping staples. Hopefully it will be trip and mower proof.Lastly, the price compares favorably to dimmer, shoddier and less flexible lights.

An ant nest was found on the battery compartment and destroyed the power source.
Ordered more lights as replacements for lights previously installed 2 years ago and deteriorated on the exterior weather elements. Good for the use of lighting some trees.
