I took this to the beach on vacation and it held up good! I think I will use this for many years to come. It’s built well and I think it was a great deal for the price!

I just picked up a metal detector and was heading on a beach trip. I’m not sure how much beach detecting I’ll so so I didn’t want to spend a ton of money on something I wouldn’t use. It arrived quickly and the assembly was easy. One of the bolts cross threaded and I wasn’t able to tighten it with the included tools. I’m sure I’ll be able to crank it down with an impact gun and a socket if it doesn’t break. It’s holding in place so I’m not too worried about it. It worked pretty well and it’s nice that you can step it into the sand or hand dig with it. I didn’t have a way to care the little hand shovel with me but it should be okay for the soft sand. Over all I’m pleased with it and will give it a 4 out of 5 due to the one bolt not being able to thread properly. Good value, versatile, not too heavy, and the scoop seems like it will hold up to the light work I’ll put it to. I attached a photo of the items I found using the shovel. I don’t think I will be retiring with this load of junk but it was fun trying out the detector and the shovel.

A strongly constructed item that is great for the detector that likes beach combing. A great value that is the perfect size so you can break it down in between uses Use it with or without the long handle. It digs then sifts the sand easily so you can see you finds quickly. It is a great addition to my detectoring arsenal.

Live here on the lake and recently got into metal detecting. I tried to make a scoop and shovel similar to this but after a few uses, it bent and rusted. So far this thing has been solid, it was easy to put together and the instructions were clear. Well worth it.

For the price, this is a pretty good scoop and handle for beginners. We have taken it to the beach 6-7 times, but the scoop started to rust after only one use. After multiple uses, we’ve noticed that the handle is bending. ****update**** Scoop broke after less the a dozen uses. I wouldn’t call this heavy duty. Use it only in dry sand and it may work better

Great for the price cant go wrong at all. I used it twice so far and seems sturdy enough. Has not loosened at all. Handles just as well as my other one that cost nearly 80 quid so no complaints from me
